it takes a while for a player to settle into his new club and I'm liking McVeeI watched McVee to see what everyone was talking about, and thought he had a pretty handy game. Composed, good disposals, didn't do a lot a wrong as far as I could tell.
I'd be dropping Worner, who needs to work on his disposal skills and composure. I appreciate his guts, but he's not quite there yet. Bring in Walker IMO.
We want Banfield dropped because his ceiling is just not very good, this factually not the case for McVee as he's a young player getting used to the team (and has a much higher ceiling).5 games because people are choosing to ignore preseason games which he wasn’t great in either.
And the only reason I mention it is because people keep saying he needs to gel in the team… no he doesn’t. He’s had enough games.
Again, if his name was Bailey Banfield, you all would have wanted him dropped in round one.
We both know this to be true.
he had a few to end the year last season and looked good there imoIf Young moves down back I would love to trial Clark attending few centre rotations. A lot of similarities to Holmes.
He is fast, tough and defensively accountable. You never know it might make our midfield more formidable.he had a few to end the year last season and looked good there imo
I wonder if Worrell goes to Treacy for a colossal match up, or if they send Butts to him and Worrell tries to work off Amiss or Voss to impact. This could shape the game!

You're right IMO. All tests need clinical correlation and a bloke who's been headbutted and then dazed has taken a decent hit that's affected his brain.Butts could struggle if he is selected. I can't believe he was allowed back on the ground after copping a big headbutt and being clearly dazed. Looked like a concussion to me. I don't care what the cognitive tests say, I don't think they are foolproof.
I thought he played equally to Nod, if slightly differently. We only broke even on the swap, at best.O'Meara was great today, was an upgrade on Noddy on the wing, he has more than earnt his spot. Go in unchanged.
Don't wanna see any outs after today involving JOM, Darcy or McVee, they all deserve to keep their spot.

Jack HannathWe gotta have someone do the all important job of crashing packs!
Worner had one brain fade in the first quarter when he took on too much, but from then on he was good.Worner is too indecisive and slow with the ball, we are susceptible to a small forward or two ripping us apart. I think he is best 27.
Walker is a better option in there for balance and adds to our speed.
You are right. Worner is the one giving it to Chappy.Chappy has had an ordinary start to the season, but watch this weeks replay again and see the I50s delivered perfectly for the leading forward, Worner doesn’t bring that to the table.
I’m really big on Young returning to half back, at least initially.
What Bolton adds as a third genuine mid is creativity and different type of player to the workmanlike Serong and Brayshaw. Reid the same if he goes in there. Johnson and Erasmus also spending a bit more time through the middle which is good.
I think Young, at least to start with, being eased back in with a role off half back is wise, as his body has been letting him down a bit.
Agree eventually he is our best midfielder, but we’ve found something that works with him out, and I’d be quite happy to roll with it for a while and just allow Young to be damaging off half back alongside Clark.
