Varcoe has been out for a month now. And Moore 2 months. What is going on?
We are making sure they are fit for the finals.

And ofcourse well joy get the extended bench on Thursday night.

And 5pm Friday the final selections.

So we know Dunn is out meaning 1 certain addition plus the four to add to the tended bench.

In: Varcoe, Wills, Greenwood, Brown, McLarty

That might very well be the extended bench.

Reading the Essendrug board and they think we are crap and overrated.

How are they going getting belted by 10 goals by a team that is crap and overrated....and the bottom team with one win.

It typical Essendon fans. Get a couple of wins and think they are the greatest. Our side must lock them down and put amence pressure on them and force them to kick wide. Block the corridor and let it rain. If it rains then we will win. If dry we are in trouble.

Just move Mihocek back and play McLarty Wills or Elliot forward.

Only change we need is our luck.

Results.... please don't change.

We usually play well against the Dons, here's hoping that doesn't change.

That being said how's Farty McLarty's VFL form been of late.

Another débutant for some positive news would be nice.

Any news on Hoskin-Elliot's dodgy ankle yet ? He looked pretty proppy on the TV... Mihocek to FB seems a reasonable move...get ready for a Brown, Mayne, Daicos HF line..

Elliot is test on afl website and Wills is same height as Mihocek and could rotate through the midfield with Sier helping the loss of Treloar.

As much as I like Rupert I'm not feeling him as a forward marking target... although I guess he would provide a contest which is a key aspect of Brody's game...

You hit the nail on the head contest and Wills is a tackle machine. If collingwoods game plan is good it really shouldn't matter.

Going to be wet Sunday. No way McLarty should debut. Simply way to many inexperienced players.

If you go with Cox as the only tall in the forward line on a wet day, you may as well not play him. Just have Grundy ruck the day out. Cox will get slaughtered by the Bummers multiple tall defenders.

And need experienced mature body Mihocek down back in case McKernan gets off the chain. McKernan too big for young Scharenberg

Whilst makeshift springs to mind.

Langdon can even play a full back roll or support Mihocek if they go that way.

Stretching us.

Be an interesting week.

McLarty’s form in the VFL has been pretty poor but think some of the lads in the magoos are suffering from not having enough AFL listers around them due to injury. So can’t see him as an in unless they are desperate.

Personally for this game at least, I think we’ll send Mihochek back into Dunny’s spot and bring in Brown or Varcoe.

You may recall earlier in the year we ran a fwd line with Cox as the only tall and it worked.

They need to get some snake oil into Moore and get him in stat after that though.

Unfortunately Josh Kennedy is listed as 2-3 weeks away from returning from injury and we play Weagles in 2. Hopefully he’s 3 away.

Need some luck for these next 5 games or we could slide pretty hard pretty fast.

Why? He just needs to bring it to ground. The came will be won on the ground but you need a "get out" kick

I very rarely even look at opposition boards but after cruising around tonight for a little after the Dunn news , the few boards that are commenting on us are mostly respectful except guess who?

Starts with "R"

If he's your only tall up forward will he consistently bring it to ground with Hooker and Hurley in front and behind?

Seriously mate, we don’t need you defending your board here. Talk about the game instead.
I'd love to. Are you expecting a tag on Merrett? He's been in some hot form lately and you quelled him pretty well earlier in the year (was Greenwood on him?) so would you expect something similar to happen?

It’s certainly possible although we haven’t tagged all year. I think we will just back our mids in to win enough of the ball.
