Out:
Schultz: Played an okay match against Essedon but Andy Collins needs him more
(Late change )Edwards: If he is elidgable to play VFL, has looked underdone the last couple of weeks
or Tuck or King

IN
Hyde: can't play VFL finals
(Late change)PBowden: because he has been good at VFL, maybe a send of match?

Also Hyde and Bowden trained with the Richmond squad the other day

Pitty Casserly or Peterson didn't get to debut this year, expect big things next year:thumbsu:

I've always thought that St.Kilda run it our of our forward line too easily.

Schulz wouldn't help this so they've gone with a forward line that can also put some pressure on rebounding defenders. This time St.Kilda don't match-up that well.

FWIW it almost looks like an old Doggies style forward line (the exception being Jack).

why is everyone so keen to drop Tucky? He's been great in the past month or so IMO.

Schulz is in a world of trouble...

Schulz's had enough time in the limelight....
Back to the two's, then up again.......Fail.

Back to the two's, then up again.......Fail.

He just doesn't get that your chances are finite.

naa dude he does. Problem is that the standard that is given those chances is finite. What you have seen is what you are going to get. i.e. like someone once said, not of AFL standard. TW wasnt going to go gung ho with removing youngsters, because he would have been ridiculed for not keeping them, in a rebuilding phase. So he let this dude do it for him.
The end. ;)

I've said it since he's started....you can tell....
Guys just don't get the ability to get the ball after they reach 25, like some guys believe here. You've got it from the start. It may not be polished, and can be perfected by 25, but the seed is there and you can see it early.
Schulz has fooled so many people that just keep waiting for some miraculous footballing gift to be bestowed on Schulz once he reaches 25.
It ain't coming boys & girls.

Schulz will end up dominating some country league til he's 150 y o and 40 stone.
You can pick someone who's not up to it in any industry in the land if you know that industry.
And most of us haven't played AFL, but we have had benchmark players in front of our eyes since we all started watching the game.
We know what is required.
Flicking someone from the highest level of an industry is done everyday, just AFL Clubs are embarrassed to quickly move off someone who has failed time and time again. They just can't admit they made a blue.

Oh well...Schulz will more than likely be back in Round 1, 2008, and we'll go through this crap all over again. *sigh*

Hydes last chance?
Get dropped and its a bad sign. Get picked and its a bad sign. :D

I think Schulz was picked last week to stretch Essendon's backline and foce them to play Lucas down back, which worked and Lucas had little influence on the game. This week we've gone for a bit more pace against the Saints.

The doggies and crows need someone like Shulz. Lets do a deal.
I'm getting sick of hearing this.
Just because Schultz is tall and a forward does not mean that we can trade him to the Dogs.
If we keep rewarding his mediocre performances in the VFL then he won't have to put in the hard yards that are needed to make it in the AFL.
He kicked 9 against Tasmania right? and they have how many quality AFL listed/talented KP backs? Let Schultz kick 9 against Sandringham, then 9 against Tasmania then another bag against Port Melbourne - considered for selection only if he can consistently provide something.
He kicks one bag and everyone is jumping up and down for his selection!
Teach the bloke a lesson - you can't make a career from turning up once a month!

Schulz is in a world of trouble...

schulz's major concern that holds him back at the minute is the way terry structures our forward line. most weeks we play with 6 starting in the square and space b/ween forwards and midfielders lining up for the centre bounce. schulz's only strength is he is a great timer of leads and if given pace will beat most one out on the lead. however he is taken right out of the game by your tamblings, edwards, richos pettifers who constantly lead far too early and leave schulz and brown in the square scratching there heads. brown is still somewhat effective as he oozes class in all situations.
