Ok, but where would you play him?

i honestly don't mind him running through the midfield or coming off the forward line.

sure he doesn't have exceptional skills, but he does a solid job, i think it's the intensity and effort he brings that i like best. you can see other players lifting around him.

...say that again...

Nah we'll move Wellingham more outside and onto the flanks to accommodate 90 mins of Matt in the middle. Essendon will kick 4 quick counter attack goals through the middle while Matt does his quicksand running imitation .... but because its not directly his man who gets the goal it won't be Matt's fault....

Yep, Matt and I both had a week off and now we're back. :p
Now I don't have a strong opinion either way, so was purely an observation I made, but if we (as ordinary football supporters) can see it, why can't the match committee? Surely they try something different to improve the fluency in the middle, but what role does that give Priddis? He's not a particularly good multi-tasker.

  • 43 Ashton Hams
  • 2 Mark LeCras
  • 34 Mark Hutchings
  • 32 Andrew Embley
  • 7 Chris Masten
  • 11 Matt Priddis

hams delisted + embley to retire

priddis will no doubt stay on to clog up our midfield for many more painful years.

There wasn't much wrong with Smith's game on the weekend, was better than Carter and Wilson, who people want in the side.

As for the extended bench, I'm hoping Hams, McGinnity and Priddis get cut.

Get rid of McGinnity, Hams and Embley from that list. Maybe Lecca instead of Embley as we need him to play the sub role.

I heard the moon was made from cheese...

Makes you wonder why Kerr wouldn't be picked after 33 possies and 3 goals. Clearly not injured.

Whats McGinnity done to earn a recall?

How is that cheese?

McGinnity adds nothing to the team. There are better players than him in every position, he is mediocre at best. We can't carry players like that and expect to play finals.

Hi WC BF people. Long time lurker with my first post.

Can I respectfully disagree about McGinnity. He was outstanding against the Crows. Yes, he is not the best kick in the league, but I think his kicking has improved. He just has so much grunt - awesome closing speed, tackling, in & under body work. I think as he matures a bit and stays fit/not suspended he can develop into an intimidating player. We need that type of player to clear a path for the likes of Shuey, Masten, Sheppard etc.

in my best 22 every week.

You will soon learn that there are no good players on the Eagles list according to this board.

If you have at least a modicum of intelligence you will be embarrassed by some of the tripe written here.
