Yes.

He didn't train yesterday!
Thank you, wasn't sure if it was Heath or Rhyce. Goodluck to Pendlebury, good to see Stretch in(even though he will only add 40 points to my dt) Thomas has done well, will he be back next week?:p

Morrison back in. That soused drunk. Rather Thomas in the side not someone running around with a flask on his hip.

Does our forward line look a little lacking to anyone else?

COLLINGWOOD
B: Lockyer, Prestigiacomo, Wakelin
HB: H.Shaw, Clement, Lonie
C: Johnson, Buckley, Licuria
HF: Didak, Maxwell, Davis
F: Swan, Rocca, Caracella
FOLL: Fraser, Holland, O'Bree
I/C: Burns, Morrison, Richards, Pendlebury
EMG: T.Cloke, Davies, Egan
IN: Morrison, Richards, Pendlebury, Prestigiacomo, Wakelin
OUT: Tarrant (suspended), R.Shaw (ill), Thomas (rested), C.Cloke, Davies
NEW: Scott Pendlebury (Gippsland Power)

Trav needs to come in I strongly believe
Happy to see CC out though, he needs a lot of improvement.

Late Change: Morrison out, Trav in

Maxwell at CHF? Seems like a defensive move, like you would use against Port to match-up Chad Cornes, and teams used to do us and Jason Cloke, but there is no floating CHB for Brisbane, so what do you folk think of that move?

Really hoping that Pendelbury plays, Thomas is due for a rest as he looks exhausted. Rhyce is still a little bit away from full match fitness (how sick is he?) and Cam Cloke was average on the weekend while Ben looks like he has a god future for us.

Richards will be great to get him back in as a good back up against a quality ruck unit (might do most of the rucking) while Wakes and PResti's selection speaks for itself. Then you have Morrison..... Unusual, but he isn't a bad player and I hope he can play well for the good of himself and his reputation.:thumbsu:

Well, we are certainly playing small with Tarrant out, even if 3 players who have come in are talls, but one is a pure ruckman, two are pure backs.

Maxwell may play forward, and as should Fraser. Depends on how it works. All players out are fair enough really. R Shaw and Tazza forced. Cam and Thomas on form and half-form/half-fitness, Davies probably unlucky considering he was a fifth change. Pendlebury comes in so it makes up for it.

Watched the boys train yesterday and Fraser was playing a Centre Half Forward's role. OB was kicking the footy to him on the lead.
Malthouse was teaching Josh a few tips.

What's the relevance of this you say?
Fraser will line up in the forward line. Richards will do most of the ruck work.

Can someone tell me who you think the key match ups will be??? I would like to know, especially be interesting which young brisbane players play on some of our players

I'm now officially very nervous. 5 changes even if 2 are regulars is alot and changes the team dramatically.

Not really.

One suspended
One out ill after his first game back in a year - we'll hardly miss Rhyce for one game
Number two draft pick out for number five draft pick
Last weeks late inclusion omitted
One underperforming ruckman replaces another. I still prefer Richards at this stage. He will allow Fraser to move forward, we dont have that luxury with Cam Cloke out there.

Five may sound a lot but when you drill down its not radical. The big surprise is the Chad, but Willy form has been rewarded. Egan selected as emercency is a bit of an odd one.

Egans selection is probably a token selection for the hard work Egan has put in improving on some of his deficiencies (defensive work and attack on the ball). I think we did this with Rowe when we were struggling with injuries even though he had relatively no VFL form, we debuted him because he improved some areas of his game considerably.

It's not a typical 5 changes. R.Shaw and Davies have only played 3 games between them this season, while Wakelin and Presti have played most. It's more like 3 changes because Richards has only played a couple, and Morrison and Pendlebury haven't played.

Malthouse wasn't happy with aspects of last week, and it can be good a thing for the players to be aware that they need to perform each week or changes will be made. Travis Cloke could still yet replace Chad Morrison too.

5 changes is still 5 changes, and that is alot. Wether forced/unforced ,regulars/fill ins. They are still 5 changes from 1 week to another.

THat said i don't have a great problem with it, but people who say it's not really 5 changes are kiddin themselves

Well I disagree with you and think that you are kidding yourself because you have admitted that you are only comparing it from last week to this week. I'm talking more of the previous nine matches up to now and looking a bit deeper and more of the big picture than you seem to be.

R.Shaw and Davies have only played 3 games between them this season, while Wakelin and Presti have played 12 games between them. If you don't get what I mean, then I don't know what else to say.
