He was selected in the back pocket
With no Adams, Sier and Tyler the cupboard is pretty bare.Brown is a midget.
He is also a poor user of the ball and has no explosive power.
Not a midfielder of AFL standard.
So Cox has a better goal average playing as a forward I wonder what metric is important when playing as a forward?Cameron is 7th in the comp for average contested marks and has Cox shadedon everything this year except goal average

Was quiet last week but took two contested grabs in the dying minutes to help get the win
If anyone should be dropped for Cox, it’s Lynch

Sorry I forgot that this is Collingwood and we don’t give a crap about kicking goals or making the opposition defenders nervous when the ball comes into the forwards. We like to slow play and let the defence set up in front of our ball carriers then try to beat them.
I would blame a lack of depth and talent. Thomas would surely not get a game in any other side.Well you won’t have to worry about that after the next game. So who will you blame if he is picked

Agreed. Now is the time to play him in what is meant to be the position in which he excels. If he fails, delist him at year's end. If he succeeds, perhaps the club will realise the wisdom of positioning players according to their strengths. With no Adams, Sier and Tyler the cupboard is pretty bare.
How good would it be to see Elliott & McCreery light it up on Monday!

Very different players - so they'll invariably compliment each other I would have thought. This holds some interest for me too. Haven’t played together but I sense they might work well together.

Yep my thoughts preciselyMayne in for Madgen
Brown in for Sier
McCreery in for Rantall
Cox should come in for Lynch but probably wont
Madgen to be sub
Not sure you could say that Rantall was 'good'. It is probably fitting that Madgen, Mayne and Thomas all play in Buckley's last game given they have been consistently selected in his teams.Bloody magden and Thomas in I thought rantall was good last week

It is an absurd match up. Is Cox injured? Surely he would have been selected for this game if available.
