What’s the position? Ruck forward.. or full forward? People expecting Cox, Cameron to kick 40 goals a year are placing the wrong expectations on them.

Have a look at Leigh Browns stats in 2010-11 and compare them to Cox and Cameron this year. The difference? Back then we had a proper full forward

Put Trav Cloke in our line up and suddenly Mihoceks 30-35 goals and Cox/Cameron 20 goals for the year are better appreciated because ridiculous expectations aren’t being placed on them

I would blame a lack of depth and talent. Thomas would surely not get a game in any other side.

At Collingwood we measure our forwards by "tackles" not "goals kicked", don't be stupid.

Agreed. Now is the time to play him in what is meant to be the position in which he excels. If he fails, delist him at year's end. If he succeeds, perhaps the club will realise the wisdom of positioning players according to their strengths.

Not sure you could say that Rantall was 'good'. It is probably fitting that Madgen, Mayne and Thomas all play in Buckley's last game given they have been consistently selected in his teams.
