So was there a second flight of players to Perth today? If so, does anyone know which players were/not on it?

Cox and WHE apparently not on either...

That's where they played him when he first started. When did u last see him play inside mid?
Didn't Trey only play half a game of ressies last week? I doubt they'd make him sub if that's the case. In: Ruscoe, Cameron, Keane, Macrae, Greenwood
Out: WHE, Cox, Sier, Adams
Is that it? Ruscoe probably sub.

My guess is Buckley’s finally throwing Moore up forward so he wants a more mobile 2nd ruck in Cameron and Cameron’s ruck work is also rated higher as well to combat Naitanui but I still would have stuck with Cox.Why would cox be out ?
My son and I were calling for noble to be tried as a forward for last year. He is quick enough to apply defensive pressure and a clever ball user. Buckley is so loathe to try something different when we are struggling it's infuriating.
Well then I’m glad he nailed that shot because it would have been paper over the cracks otherwise.
That defence looks suspect without Moore and Crisp in it, especially against the WCoast set of forwards. Doesn't match up well. If they get enough supply, they will kill is.Really, really hoping that this is how it looks (given the info we've gleaned from our BigFooty airport and training detectives, god bless ya!). Shake up the team too. I would've wanted Murphy to get a call-up, but he was coming off a concussion so might be best to have a reserve level hitout this week.
OUT: WHE - Adams - Cox - Sier (if unable)
IN: Cameron - Macrae - Keane - Ruscoe (if Sier can't get up)
FB: Howe - Roughead - Madgen
HB: Quaynor - Keane - Maynard
C: Daicos - Crisp - Noble
HF: Sidebottom - Moore - Mihocek
FF: McCreery - De Goey - Thomas
FOLL: Grundy - Pendlebury - Sier/Greenwood
INT: Macrae - Greenwood / C. Brown - Mayne - Cameron
EMERG: C. Brown / Ruscoe
- I don't think it's ideal to be having to deal with so many changes, given we've got at least three guaranteed (Adams, Cox, WHE), especially heading out West. but I like that Macrae will be getting back into the team, and given Cameron has been playing well in reserves I can't fault rewarding that.
- It's a huge risk to flip Moore forward in this game, but I'd like to try and beat up on NicNat with a two-ruck approach, similar to what the WB did to Grundy in R1.
- I would prefer Cal Brown to not play at all, but doubt we're going to debut Rantall, Reef or Poulter, and Ruscoe has been just as terrible as Brown this year.
- Keane has also been playing well at a reserve level, and I like the height of that backline. Madgen has versatility, and Keane is a much better size for Jack Darling than he was for Taberner, who is a big-bodied KPF, and he probably has a better feel for the game now.
- Move Crisp fully into the middle. He seems to have the best connection with Grundy's hitouts, and he's a true runner both ways. Would also like to see Maynard move through the middle to provide some genuine grunt.
- Sier is a question mark. If he's able to play and healthy, I want him in the side. Unlocks the running ability of our outside players with his handpassing, and he provides some size to the midfield. If he can't get up, I want Greenwood in to make Kelly's life miserable, and Ruscoe (ugh) as the sub.
- Have Sidebottom spend a significant amount of time up forward, he and McCreery provide legit crumbing targets. I also like the idea of having JDG one out a lot, as he's a really tricky match-up for most Weagles defenders, particularly with no Hurn there to organise them.
Why would cox be out ?
So he plays his role to shift transition to the fat side, and that's an issue exactly how?
Phillips rarely had DE%'s over 70 and most here thought he was a star, despite the protestations of a few. Madge's 1st game at senior level on a wing he manages 25 disposals, 3 marks, 1 goal 1, 5 I50's, 4 R50's, 3 clearances, and 550+ meters gained, and people sook about his DE%. If Phillips had a game like that at any time we'd be drowning in the gushing.
My guess is Buckley’s finally throwing Moore up forward so he wants a more mobile 2nd ruck in Cameron and Cameron’s ruck work is also rated higher as well to combat Naitanui but I still would have stuck with Cox.
Because they are idiots?
Clearly Cameron should come in but hopefully not at the expense of Cox.
Unless........ they have finally decided to swing Moore forward
I would be very happy to have Mick in the big chair, he’s a very astute coach. Is that Mick McGuane’s subtle way of advertising that he’s available for a coaching gig?

jmac70 why are you so positive when we are an absolutely rabble!? You don’t need to kiss the clubs ass 24/7. They’ve made some serious mistakes and people are entitled to call them out. Not sure why you’re acting like they have never made a mistake. It’s a bit sad.
why does he need to catastrophise, like so many here.
He’s entitled to a glass half full attitude- where’s the problem?
If you think being positive is sad - then I think you have the problem.
Bit Stiff for WHE after Good Game last week but I guess he wants to stay home with his Wife and New Child
Has this been announced? So Cox gets dropped for one bad performance? So what’s the excuse for Mayne,Thomas,Brown then? Why are they still in the team?

If Madgen plays up the ground again Noble will probably stay back pocket. I would prefer him on the HBF and he gives good drive running and kick as does Quaynoor.Earlier in the week I suggested Noble actually be dropped due to lack of match up more than anything else. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a positional switch for him tomorrow night.
