Realistically his good game last week consisted of 20 minutes in the third quarter. Didn’t do a lot in the first half or the last quarter. Too little too late

That said, dropping him and Cox in the same game is a massive risk, leaving only Mihocek as anybody of note

Well as McGuane mentions you want to isolate DeGoey one on one deep forward, so lm hoping the dropping of Cox, is to achieve that result. JDG is at his best one on one. Lets put pressure on that WC defender, and draw McGovern and Barass further up the ground.

Ok so Cox has been kicking goals in each game for us 2 goals roughly per game. He can be hit or miss but he’s the only big target we have but let’s drop him anyway. Meanwhile JT, C Brown, WHE stink up the place and get game after game after game. I’d be fine with dropping Cox if we actually had a full forward or a CHF to replace him, we haven’t and that’s all on the recruiting staff who in my opinion need to be replaced with people who actually know what a key position player is. Ffs this is beyond a joke.

Glass half full? Mate we have had this glass full approach for years, what did it get us?

“wE wERe A KiCK aWaY frOm a PRemiErsHiP”

that’s all we have can hold on to for the last decade.

Settle down sport
This has got nothing to do with WE.

Why does an individual posters positive attitude towards his football club illicit your contempt and derision.

If you don’t like it put him on ignore.

Maybe Moore is going forward?

If Madgen plays up the ground again Noble will probably stay back pocket. I would prefer him on the HBF and he gives good drive running and kick as does Quaynoor.

I am curious though, who does he play on?

It's sure as shit not Kennedy, Darling or Allen.

It's definitely not Ryan (will destroy him aerially).

And it's not Cripps or Waterman as both will be too big and strong for him.

Maybe Petruccelle? Kicked 4 goals last week and very, very quick. However I'd probably put Quaynor on him, with Maynard going to Ryan again.

Poor Keane. They drag him out for the Eagles again on their home patch. He will be on one of three damaging talls and I feel the pill will be coming in frequently. Good luck.
Might be the making of him.

How do you think we performed in the first half v Brisbane??
I think we performed the way we were expected to against a team that’s been in a hotel for a week.

Im not against it but I think it should be more strategic plan, not a panic decision mid stream.

Well hope the move comes off,
My problem is with the mids and has been for years.
The defence has been ok.
Good luck to the player that replaces Moore in the backline, could be a whipping boy candidate.

Geez they have a solid forward line don’t they? Not invincible tho.
Kennedy is getting older he’s still dangerous but I reckon Darlings the one to watch out for so I’d put Moore on Darling.
Roughead on Kennedy.
Howe on Oscar Allen as he likes to play up the ground more.
Maynard will want to have another go at Ryan.
Now I’m looking at Petrucelles heat map from 2 rounds ago where they beat Port and he was mainly on the wing, so maybe chuck Madgen there and see how he goes.
Looks like Waterman has been playing in Defence.
I reckon Quaynoor has to go Redden if he starts forward. That leaves Noble and Cripps.
Cripps is only 3 cm taller but 10 kg heavier.
Hopefully Noble doesn’t play too heap as he can be fumbly with the ball deep in the pockets.

Earlier in the week I suggested Noble actually be dropped due to lack of match up more than anything else. I wouldn't be too surprised to see a positional switch for him tomorrow night.

Wonder if he could work up forward? Mick McGuane thinks so, and he knows a fair bit more than me
