Wines issue is not like a soft tissue injury, either he is right to play or he isn't. I think Lord and Cochrane were both quiet so expect one of them to go out. DBJ usually takes a game or two after a break so he gets another chance. Atkins and Boak should be outs but I feel they will keep Boak in. If anything Boak should be sub, he has trouble running out a full game at a normal level these days.

I don’t think Boak has been as bad as people are saying here. His first 2 games were very good. Stat wise has dropped away a little bit but certainly not droppable on form.

I would give moraes a rest. I have loved what he has done so far but could possibly benefit from a game off. Richards is an automatic back in and Atkins will be last in first out. I would love to see what lai has to offer at afl level, even if it was as sub. Berry should come back in soon too, but wether that’s after one game in the sanfl or needs another I am not sure.

I’ve been more critical of him than most. While I don’t think he’s knocked the door down, I also don’t think he’s any less ready to play AFL than Moraes or Atkins. Same goes for Lorenz and previously Berry.

For the last few years I've had basically no interest in our matches under Hinkley against the cellar dwellers, except for Norf, who I've taken great pleasure in seeing us embarrass every time we play them. Hopefully this is yet another edition.

That opening few years of 1-10 head to head record against these wastes of space should be motivation enough to enjoy sinking in the boot in at every opportunity. To quote a very early senior coach of mine " They kicked us when we were down, now it's our turn".
