Hamish Hartlett "Luko performed really strongly in the SANFL trial last week against the Doggies so he will come into our lineup" My main concern with these comments from Hartlett is that we played West so I hope they were watching the right game.

In terms of goal threat he was crap. But he was pretty creative in the build up play in the 2nd half and then went back late.

Luko was always coming in once he showed he was moving freely post his groin injury. Sanfl trial form isnt critical. He for all his faults is better then Lord.

My concern is Hammer was watching an entirely different game to the rest of us because from where I, and I suspect the majority of others sat, Luko played a stinker. Jacob Surjan was also high in his praise for Luko.

Hammer should be able to tell the Port Magpies and Westies from the other SANFL teams because he played for both. Maybe he went to the wrong oval?

Dropping Visentini is stupid. Give the kid a run at it for **** sake. He did ok against Xerri in the ruck. We've given Sweet a stack of games, he ain't it.
Mead should be break glass in case of emergency only
Luko needs to earn his spot by showing at least some semblance of contested ability

Not addressing the single most critical need - ability to compete, tackle and win the ball is also glaring

Dante was decent with his ruck taps - that wasn't why he got dropped, but we still got smashed in the middle. To not have Brodie in for Watkins is a bad move.
