Cochrane won’t play, fair chance Berry doesn’t either if Jones plays. They’ll bring in a tall in the forward line, either Lord or Finlayson.

I'd keep Berry and Moraes in.
It wouldn't bother me if Mead came out but I think he'll stay.

Surely they aren't going to bring Lord in off the back of an injury in the SANFL, 1 quarter in 3 weeks, and what I think was a highly interrupted preseason and one he spent most of in ruck.

Talk about setting players up to fail. Did it last week with a massively underdone Soldo and it worked so well.....

Finlayson should play, even if it is just until Lord is ready, but he's had game time and some continuity. Can offer a ruck option and hit the scoreboard. His big selection question is the goal kicking demon on his shoulder. I remember when Dermie used to rave about Finlayson's kicking every time he got it when he first got here "Best kick for goal in the country", lol. He wouldn't be the best kick for goal in Div 7 Ammo Reserves.

Finlayson is also a better player than Lord even at full fitness if we are being honest.

Persevere with Berry imo. He's finding his feet more each week and tracking upwards. Let him gain momentum and then cut him when he tapers off.

Dropping Berry will dismantle his confidence, i will be filthy if we drop him.

All he needs is one game to play well in, doesnt need to have 20 and 2, all he needs is a nice 15 touches coupla goals, convert set shots, tidy up his kicking.

He does this he will become more confident and mature, and hopefully his performance can become consistent.

He has to be out in Purgatory for half of the year and get some heart back.

He was atrocious in the Pies game.
