Out: Yeo, Trew (to sub)
In: Foley, Kennedy

Backs: Barrass, Bazzo, Rotham, Hurn, Duggan, Jones, Foley
Mids: Kelly, Shuey, Redden, West, Gaff, Hough (wings)
Rucks: Naitanui, Williams
Forwards: Kennedy, Darling, Waterman, Ryan, Cripps, Rioli, Petruccelle
Sub: Trew
Emergency: Edwards, SPS, Clark

Good debut from Trew but someone has to go out for Kennedy. Make him the sub.

Considered Edwards for Yeo but we’ve looked better with the smaller lineup. Foley gets the nod over Witherden.

Trew would typically be an out for me but you don’t debut a guy and then not give him three or four weeks.

Need some tall timber against Carlton, Bazzo battled hard today but surely more suited to a third man role, and Edwards/Rotham can chop out NN.

Duggan for SPS won’t happen but I’d enjoy it.

We need a relief ruckman and it isn’t going to be Edwards or Rotham. Perhaps Strnadica or Dixon, Carlton rest de Koning with Silvagni so Dixon could easily compete against him, probably best him.

Out: Yeo, Williams, West, Duggan but I think Simmo will keep him in.
In: Edwards, SPS, Kennedy, Culley
Knights said before the match he'd played very little football in the weeks before coming to Perth. But added he's a likely debutant before year's end. (Plus bye in WAFL this weekend.) I'd like to see him get a couple at least when he's ready.

Jumped and elected to bump and got Pickett in the head. Pickett played the rest of the game so have that in our favour.

Just saw a replay, he left his feet to smother a handball not to bump.

Shouldn’t be any more than a fine at absolute most.

Did SPS come back on?

Missed most of the last but thought he did his ankle?

Don’t think he even went off in the end.

I wouldn't say he elected to bump per se: he jumped to smother the ball and his momentum caught the kicker high after the ball went past.

What is going on with Clark? Have the MC already put a line through him? Would really like to see him get another few games BUT in the guts not on the wing.
Depending on whose stats you go by, he's as big or bigger than Rotham ... and he's a midfielder. And yet Gaff is apparently more of an inside bull. (???)

We are now in the position where we (finally) have replacement players. The MC now has to make some hard calls if they are thinking long term and not just ... credits in the bank ... blah blah blah.

Kennedy for Yeo the only change. Duggan saved by Yeo's injury.

SPS into the 22 and onto a half back flank.

Everyone is down on Williams, but I have faith that he'll produce more than Jamieson.

Would also consider playing Shuey on a flank in bursts if we need drive, with West spending more time on ball.

Agree, would much prefer Clark to Gaff. The latter gives very little nowadays.

Wouldn't mind seeing Jamo and Nic next weekend.
It does irritate me that Williams is often unable to make a high ball 50/50 for the team, just seems 3m off the drop of the ball a lot.

Still young so no need to panic, but wouldn't be against seeing them rotate partners with NN to see what works best.
