Why would Essendon have to forfeit?

I don’t think the AFL Are even certain. What to do just yet. I think they will try and resolve the issue when they re do the fixture

I assume it gets shoved in midweek somewhere. Maybe in the next fixture block we makeup by having a Thursday night game, bombers Friday, play each other Tuesday or Wednesday and each play someone else the following Sunday.

I think the most likely thing is we play maybe Tuesday/Wednesday if everyone comes back and then Essendon's game is rescheduled for Sunday (logically we swap with Hawthorne/lolNorf)
