Exactly this... Young comes in simply because how dire we were in the clearances, I'm hoping it was just a rusty round 1 "event" but if they struggle like that again Young is much better inclusion than Toump. Most weeks I'd say Toump for White, but this week I'm thinking maybe Aaron Young. A) We got belted in the clearances today, and Young is one of the better clearance winners on our list, and b) an away showdown is a hell of a pressure cooker environment in which to debut a kid like Toumpas with documented confidence issues.
Play Young in White's spot against the Crows, and unless Youngy makes himself undroppable bring Toump in for a debut easy kill against Essendon.

Based on the Norwood game, only Howard has done enough to be considered for a spot in the AFL side.I wasn't at the Norwood game but my recollection from reports is Toumpas did nothing of note, on top of a lacklustre NAB Challenge. We don't need like for like for White. Howard is due, Palmer slightly back. Paul Stewart, Aaron Young not crazy options.
Yeah. However I'm trying to pretend I'm too deeply footy brainy than to just go Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard, Howard.Based on the Norwood game, only Howard has done enough to be considered for a spot in the AFL side.

young is a half forward flanker, white is a half forward flanker. like for like. toumpas is a slow midfielder.Young maybe has had a few chances? We are expecting something different than we have seen already? If it's line ball maybe Jimmy?
I am more worried about Boak. What's with tex being in a moon boot they are talking about on crows board? Post match injury?
Yeh he was off today. Why?I am more worried about Boak.
Young in for mine. Carlile to ******* fat camp.
His whole point was that the crows have a strong ball winning brigade , and showdowns are often slogs. Therefore he made the point an inside ball winner with form in these type of games is maybe a better choice then an untested outside player when our outside game will depend on winning it and we are already faster then them anyway.
mayches up well on Lynch/Red hair lead up dude for the CrowsOShea, lol
