I would love to see Dougs come in, if picked he would deserve selection and he could provide some genuine match up head aches.
Kenny won't do it but I think Dougs is a better match up for Jacobs, particularly in the centre square.

In terms of defensive match ups;
Trengove to Jerka, Alipate to Lynch and Hombsch/Jonas to Walker.
We'll probably start with Impey to Betts and if Betts plays high then that's probably a good match up.
Seriously, Bobby to Lynch? He will be cramping up 15 min in.impey needs to lern to let Eddy go up field and defend on the way back, I'd do the same with Bobby on Walker.

FFS Lobbe will not be dropped!!!!! We have NOONE else!

Howard is not the answer to carry the ruck alone and full time at this stage.

Anyone posting Lobbe out should just post "I have no idea about football or the PAFC list"

This isn't Facebook.
I have no idea about football or the PAFC list.
Serials tho, Lobbe out Dougal in. :$

White should be the only out.

I dont know if I would bring in Toumpas. Norwood's Wilson gave him a bath on the wing with his speed on Thursday night. Depending on matchups Impey could play on the wing and use his pace like White and bring in O'Shea for down back especially if we use Jacko a lot in the ruck to help out the Lobster.

Betts chased kicks in a big way against the kangaroos. The kangas defenders gave him plenty of space. He got caught out big time when the kangaroos cleaned up their clearance work. He was caught forward of the wing in space, too far away to offer defensive pressure more times than I could count.

If kangas turned it over though, he was there.

Based on the Norwood game, only Howard has done enough to be considered for a spot in the AFL side.

from left field .. I look at bringing in Howard ..

he can exploit the lack of height that the cows have in defence .. (he is 199cm and he would be against some one around 189 -190cm)
he can run Jacobs off his feet
he can play both forward and defence (thus giving the key positions a chance to have a rest for a few minutes if needed)

I'm sure everyone saw Bobby's knee strapped. He was limping considerably post game from what I saw behind he glass.

O'Shea is cooked. Let it go guys. It's not 2013 anymore.
Oshea will play plenty of games in 2016. Kenny likes the way he plays - he picks him in August and September, there are always injuries and there are always match up issues.

As much as I want Toumpas to play, I'd like to see Amon get a go on a wing. I think adding an extra midfielder will stretch their mids.

On the other hand, I think Howard in could be a good strategic inclusion, but may make us a bit too top heavy. What we don't want to happen is to play Howard, lose a small early and we'll be pushing shit up hill a bit.

We don't need another tall when it is predicted to be 28 degrees on Saturday.

Young for White. I would not throw Toumpas into a showdown first up.

Toumpas and Dougal could play the week after against Essendon. Boak could be rested that game if he is carrying something.

He was limping during the game too. He frustrated me the most out of all of our players yesterday. Was lumbering, not running hard and giving his opponent too much space. Not that he was alone there.

If there is a player who can't play under duress, it's carlile. He turns to complete rubbish.

Yeah let's not rest anyone against Essendon please.

This. I really want amon in- its a like for like. Amon brings speed maybe not the same as white, a good kick and knows where the goals are inside 50

Definitely Young or Amon over Toumpas dont think Toumpas will give us enough. I like Youngs work in close which i think we will need aginst the cows.

This whole 'O'Shea turns into a gun in the second half of the year' thing is such a myth.

2011 and 2012 he was poor all year. 2013 he was good all year. 2014 he was poor in the first half and good in the second. 2015 he was poor in the first half, then started getting games in the second half because Carlile and Trengove were injured, but apart from the Collingwood game he was still very average.

The 'poor first half, good second half' thing has happened once in five years. Once in five years is not a pattern.

Young would be my pick to replace White. Not exactly like for like, but we could do with a bit of extra firepower at stoppages and Young's reasonably useful resting on a HFF.

No more a myth than Young being one of the best clearance players on our list. He simply isn't. Can get his hands on it a bit for sure, but that's basically where it ends.

Don't think anybody would argue that he's going to break away from the pack and hit a forward on the tit with a silky skilled pass ala Robbie Gray, but he's excellent at reading the tap. I'd rather have Young grabbing the ball and blindly kicking it forward our way than Matt Crouch grabbing the ball and blindly kicking it forward their way.

I would back our inside mids to do better then they did this week (although if Boak's injured we might have a problem) so for me..

out White (Boak?)
in fastest Maggie - Amon (Young)

If Bobby is underdone then maybe this could be a option.
