What a perfect week for Matty Allen to debut. South Australian kid with a decent chance of rain - I’ve seen him play midfield in the wet and he will perfect to harass and menace the Crouch boys. If selected, he has to play mainly midfield and if needed, Shuey and Redden are better options on the hff.

Read that Josh Jenkins kicked 6 in the reserves so not sure what happens there.

We have a realistic chance this week and likely to have at least 2 changes

Watching the Crows board, a really mixed view on the changes. Views on Atkins looks like ours on Masten. Some thoughts Jenkins does not warrant inclusion due to (a) only 1 decent game and (2) their structure is better without him. There is some concern on O'Brien their ruck and they look pretty light on in rucking terms.

There is general discontent that the Crows are being smashed in centre clearances meaning we have a really good chance to win this area.

Match ups/talk points:
1. KPD - Talia and Keath for JK and Jack. Hardigan likely out so thoughts they bring in Fogarty as 3rd tall
2. KPF - Walker and Jenkins/Himmelberg can be covered by McGovern and Ragnar Schofield. I don't like the idea of OAllen up against Walker.
3. Seedsman was back for his first game in SANFL on restricted minutes so may not return so may stick with Atkins
4. I cannot see many areas for concern. Hutchings to tag Sloan. Betts has slowed a bit but Cole is not at his peak so a watch point.
5. Our smaller forwards of Petruccelle, Rioli and Ryan will be difficult match ups. Need to make Laird accountable and not freely floating as a small interceptor so make sure our smaller forwards work him hard up the ground.

I dont really see why we would play NicNat in the WAFL. If he's right to play WAFL he's right to play AFL. There's no lessening of the risk of injury and NicNat is a walk up over our current rucks (Vardy at least).

Pretty sure Simmo said he would return in the WAFL on limited minutes first. Could be wrong though.
