Correct. I've stood on the other side to what we're doing for a while now, i'd shut the **** up if we were winning.I do not really understand some of the trade offs we make.
If the statement " we have to persist with players who will make errors" is true. Which everyone knows it is.
Then the position of the entire club should be to prioritise the playing of kids where we are unclear on the ceiling of.
We cannot remain a side that loses this often without consistently bringing in more youth.
I get that there is a balance. However the question is which storm do we want to weather?
Senior players who we know what we get and can point to years of ineptitude to prove it or younger players who will f*** up while they learn.
X was out for three weeks. We brought in CCJ only to in turn bring in Dawson as a ruck man less than a month later.
It reeks of being super reactive where we are plodding along with no real idea of what comes next we are just chucking shit at the fridge to see what sticks?
If we drop Blamires to bring in Hardeman it is basically a net neutral.
But we're not which as you suggest, is not leaving us any outs... at least if we were young we could use that.
We're just old and dreck, laborious dreck.
