I think the big question mark over C Beams remains his pace. He just can't compete for a spot at the moment against someone like Cutler who is also a good kick and has some footy nous but is just faster off the mark.

If he can find his kicking that would compensate for a lack of pace but he can't be both slow and unskilled.

FWIW Claye's kicking in the twos on Saturday was as good as I've seen from him in a long time. Genuine 55 metre accurate bullet passing. If he could reproduce that in the seniors...

Agree w this. plus CBeams for Hammelman. CBeams to play HFF not HBF.

Probably very likely that it will be curtains for Claye unless he finds some form. Be a shame to see those skills of his, in his final season, being used in a non-natural position.

He deserves to be up HFF. Mayes seems to be developing well at HBF so perhaps should stay there for the time being, but Paps is another player along with Claye who need a run up forward!!
