Well another dissapointing loss from the boys. However there will be a few ins to look forward to with the possibility of Hird and Campo back as well Lovett. Bad news is that laycock and winda are definately out.

In: hird (subject to fitness test maybe back after the break), Lovett, Campo, Jolley, Ryder

Out: winder (inj), Laycock (inj), Dempsey (ommitted), Peverill (ommitted), Dyson (if Hird is fit)

I vermy much doubt Pev will be omitted. He was far from our worst and we need some experience in there. Ryder for Laycock is the obvious swap. Lovett for Winderlich is the other one. I'd be surprised if Hird played before the long break. Maybe give Jolley a run this week depending on how he plays for Bendigo. Campo i guess comes in for Dyson.

In: Ryder, Lovett, Jolley, Camporeale
Out: Laycock, Winderlich, Dempsey, Dyson

i doubt hird will be back before the break theres not really much point risking him. I also think slattery will be back as well as bradley and watson if the have recovered from their injuries. Does anyone have information about the chances of them been ready for next week?

Campo takes Peverills place... Has more experience then pev and a better player
Hird/Watson if either fit for Dyson
Jolley for Winder
Ryder for Laycock
Lovett for Dempsey

With winderlich injured we dont want to drop too many quick and skillful players. If we bring Jolley, watson and hird in at the expense of some runners then our team balance will suffer. Melbourne love to run the footy and we need to make sure we pick a side that can keep up.

Yeah.. Fair point.. However Watson and Hird fit are automatic inclusions as is lovett (we don't need to worry about his speed). Dempsey is not up to AFL standard yet. Who can we drop? Monfries may get a rest this week, Nash maybe? Peverill is not a fast runner. Would rather Dyson played then Peverill.

Its a tough one as our runners aren't in the best of form, i just feel we need to persevere with them as long as we can.

I'd like to see Lee in at the expense of Bolton but we all know that will never happen.

Why would you drop guys like Nash and Dempsey to bring in a Camporeale????
The younger guys need to get as many matches as they can since our season is shot. Much more beneficial for the future.

Nash and Dempsey are still really really raw and could do with a little extra time at Bendigo, Campo is still a very good AFL footballer no matter what other people say, I would bring him in because I'm getting sick of losing and he would help more than a Dempsey could atm

Was good to see Nash lining up in the centre for parts of the game, got abit of the ball and his decision making with his 15 possies was good.

His defensive game was non existant but he should not be dropped just because he was beaten by chapman, Chapman always bends over our small defenders.

Hopefully we see Nash starting in the midfield next week and spending most of his game time their.

It seems that Laycock's surgery may be postponed, hopefully only until after the Melbourne match if at all. If that is so, then ins and outs will be from the following:

outs: Winderlich (inj), Dempsey, and a couple from Pev, Reynolds, Dyson, Bolton, Nash
Ins: Bradley, Campo and Watson will all come in if fit, Lovett will come in, as well as possibly Jolley and Lee (depending on how tomorrows match goes).

I'd say that Campo will play tomorrow as well....

Not sure what will happen, they may leave Bradley and Watson until after the break if they are looking doubtful, similarly with Campo..... However if all these guys are fit, then I'd say that all three will come in along with Lovett.

It will be hard to find a place for Jolley of Lee if that is the case, as then 5 changes will be required.

I'd say that Essendon will be picking a side that gives us the best chance of winning this week. We have a 9 day break (with Melbourne having 6 days break), so I think that Sheedy will go for experience rather then youth... Hence Campo coming in....

i would love to see campo play because as someone said b4.. im over lossing i mean 10 games in a row is enough.. even if development is on a stand still for a week id take that for a win.. just so geelong can go back in the spotlight :D and show essendon supporters that its not 3-4 years till we get a winnning team

I'd leave Watson, Bradley and Campo all out so they can come back after the break nice and fresh. Would look at giving McPhee a rest as well.
In's - Lee, Jolley, Cartledge, Lovett
Out's - Laycock, Winderlich, Dyson, Dempsey

Hopefully Carts will come in. Ryder hasn't played much at all recently. Needs a couple of weeks in the twos.

Carts will hopefully get a chance to show his ability.
