I can't read the article because **** paying for it, but yeah, Cox in for Darcy.

Key part regarding Cox:

"The Collingwood premiership ruckman was one of the Thunder’s best in the 12.4 (76) to 10.7 (67) defeat on a hot afternoon at Revo Fitness Stadium.

Unofficial statistics compiled by The West Australian had Cox finish with 17 disposals, 38 hit-outs, four marks and a goal as the starting ruckman for the Dockers’ WAFL affiliate.

It came against impressive opposition as well, with the Tigers rotating star ruckman Ollie Eastland and former Brisbane rookie Kalin Lane against Cox and Dockers teammate Aiden Riddle.

“He competed really well in the ruck, Ollie Eastland is a good a ruckman going around at this level and at ground level it looked a good competitive battle,” Fremantle head of development Geoff Valentine said.

“We couldn’t be happier with Mason’s attitude and the way he approached the game. He fought it out strongly.”

Darcy won’t be dropped.

Can’t see much reason to bring in B. Cox if he’s not 100% when Lynch is out for a period for Richmond.

Nankervis is out possibly, so Darcy can stay on the ground all game and build fitness.

In: Walker
Out: Switkowsi.

Switta has been awful first two weeks.

Out: Darcy, Amiss, Worner, McDonald
In: Cox, Murray, Walker, Cox

Not really fair after a 50 point win but Darcy and Amiss need a run in the WAFL, Worner is competing with Ryan and McDonald is just not as good as Cox.

Darcy has to go out. We are paying him to 2030 either way... We don't owe him anything. He's not Fyfe, Pav or Mundy.

The answer seems so obvious. Cox in for Darcy, amiss out for an extra runner. Cox and Jackson rest forward more to provide 3rd tall option. I'd rotate MJ as 3rd tall at times too. We clearly have a great running game, but we also clearly don't have the legs to keep it going for 4 qtrs. The more runners we can jam into the team the better.

Worner won’t be dropped. Walker can go to interchange bench.
Switkowsi should be under pressure. 7 disposals 0 marks tonight. 9 disposals, 1 mark last week

Actually like that thinking. If Amiss can’t trouble defence, then just rotate Cox and Jackson through the forward line as resting third forward

I mean on form I don't think you can justify Jye and Darcy staying in.

At the same time it's probably the best opportunity we have for a while to try and play Jye into form and build Sean's fitness.

I don't like how we are basically hamstringing ourselves with rotations with Darcy.

After a poor start, OMAC was solid for three and a half quarters. If BCox is still injured OMac stays in.

Amiss needs to believe in himself. If he had executed the fundamentals of marking and kicking, his game would have been fine. They won't drop him because he provides enough 50 50 contests where he brings the ball to ground.

They'll persevere with McVee. Hopefully he settles and gels with team. We sold him the idea he could be an attacking half back, does he have the kicking skills?

And Darcy... poor bloke. I rate Darcy highly, but he knew at the end of the game he's not AFL ready.

One of the biggest pros of Cox over Darcy is his ability in the forward line.

We could go smaller and bring in more run if we went with Cox and a small in place of Amiss and Darcy.

That's probably the only way I see him getting a run in the next 2-3 weeks. Otherwise they'll give Darcy a good run at it.

Could look at Cox, drop Amiss and bring in Tobyn Murray?

Three talls and a more mobile small.

I’d like Cooper Simpson in soon

What to do with Drizz? He did a couple of nice things coupled with some absolute dross?

Felt he moved around the ground quite well. Got back nicely defensively, but his ball use was an impediment
With Ras and Johnson comfortably leaving him behind now, Young takes his spot when fit. Otherwise, they need him for the rotations.

Walker > McVee (doubt that happens)
M. Cox > Darcy (also doubt they happpens)
Murray/Banfield/JOM > Amiss (again unlikely that will happen)

Leave B. Cox to get some mins at Peel.

Mason Cox and LJ to rotate forward.
