Yep. Fair enough. Jetta might be safe. But the club should never again kid themselves that he has the endurance to play on a wing or help cover Masten's role.
We almost lost the game tonight but think a lot of it was lost in the coaches box. When an opposing side gets a run on, surely some changes could have been made by the coaches?

Have changed my prognosis with Darling's injury
Lat rotation and if pain above the ankle - possible syndesmosis injury so 3-4 months out - best case 10-12 weeks
Thats prob what Simmo is worried about

So sprained ankle 3 weeks then, excellent.

Another one?! FMD.

Why do people want Jetta out? He wasn't that bad I thought
Because he was clearly our worst player tonight soft lazy and poor skills. Hes in the team for his skills and effort which were virtually non existent tonight. Everyone has a bad game but no one is too good to be dropped and based on that performance he should be back at East Perth

To all of you saying Hutchings out you have no idea for what reason. He tagged Steven and Steven had no impact on the game whatsoever clear winner in that battle. He will tag JPK who is also slow and hopefully do another good job. You need defensive midfielders to do jobs and he is doing his well. He was poor in the Hawks game but much better tonight.

My changes In: Shuey Ryan Out: Jetta and Darling

Redden was down on clearances and so was Yeo expect a much better performance against Sydney with Shuey back

If Masto doesn't get up for Sydney then Duggan should be moved into the wing. He's got a big tank, decent speed and uses the ball well.

FF LeCras Kennedy Ryan
HF Cripps Waterman Rioli
C Gaff Redden Duggan
HB Sheppard McGovern Hurn
FB Cole Barrass Nelson
R Naitanui Shuey Yeo
B Sheed Ah Chee Lycett Hutchings

Would love Simmo to back not using a tagger and bring in Petrol.
Petrol will be awesome on a short ground like the SCG where he could do a bit of damage with his run and carry.

Surely Ryan needs a few weeks in the wafl for match fitness... You blokes. Straight in, haha, love it.
Talent like that is wasted in the WAFL no need straight back in he can get match sim at training he was training well last week another two weeks he will be right to go

Mate he has no idea nor do the medics once scan is done then we will know but didn't look good. He could be lucky and be right in 2 weeks but that is an extremely slim chance

It's not bloody high ankle. It's a low grade sprain but there is something on top of his foot that's the worrying thing. Hence why he was able to ride the bike. Hopefully not but a possible fracture of a bone in his foot.

I don't think he will miss.

Ins Shuey, Ryan, Petruccelle
Outs Nelson, Waterman, Hutch

Waterman was crap. Ahchee was great and can play the 3rd tall. We need run in this team. No need for waterman when NN and Slyce kick goals.
Oh news through Ryan is playing Monday for EP

Waterman was crap.

Where did you hear this? In Simpson's presser he said he'd prefer to have Ryan (and Shuey) doing match simulation at training next weekend.

I think throwing Ryan straight into the side after a LT injury against the Swans on a Friday night game at the SCG is a big risk. Maybe the following week at home to Essendon.
Absolutely horrible game from Jetta tonight. Cannot go unpunished.

IN: Shuey, Masten (if fit, if not Petch)
OUT: Darling, Jetta

Tough to do this before East Perth play but anyway...

Out: Darling (inj), Nelson (unlucky)
In: Brander, Shuey

B: Sheppard, Barrass, Hurn
HB: Duggan, McGovern, Cole
C: Gaff, Shuey, Sheed
HF: Rioli, Waterman, Cripps
F: LeCras, Kennedy, Lycett
R: Naitanui, Redden, Yeo
I: Brander, Jetta, Ah Chee, Hutchings
E: Mellen, Partington, Ainsworth, Nelson (traveling)

Assuming Shuey will get up, Darling and Masten won't.

Ryan I think will need a game in the WAFL - he's a three-game draftee who's missed two months of footy, he shouldn't come straight back in, especially against the Swans at the SCG. Good chance to debut Brander.

I assumed Nelson would play in defence and either Jetta or Duggan would move up the field. I was wrong, Nelson basically played Masten's role on the wing. That's really not his go.

imo any criticism of Nelson today was unfair and he seemed to be way more influential than his 9 touches. He used the ball well and defended extremely well.

Jetta on the other hand was rubbish and He’s on thin ice considering that he’s there to take the game on via sublime kicking or using his leg speed to break lines. At the start of the year he was awesome with his 60m darts that broke the opposition zones but now he doesn’t have that and he isn’t willing to use his speed as well. With emergence of Cole and Duggan, we are getting to a point where we could drop Jetta as these guys much better defenders but offensively they’re doing more.

Nelson did cover 15km this week. Wouldn’t mind seeing him playing a bit more wing if he does get dropped to the 2’s.

Did he? He got nine touches. That's a lot of running for not much impact.

OUT: Jetta, Hutchings, Darling (inj)
IN: Masten, Shuey, Brander / Ryan

Too many HBFs, too ineffective.

CLOSE TO OUT: Sheed
IN: Ainsworth / Partington / whoever plays well for EP.
