Hislop is playing very well, Give him a chance Toby, shit!

he and King should be **** some slack in my IMO they are both playing great footy, and when King did that Mohamed Ali stance over that Melbourne pussy who by the way flinched might i add:D it gave me tingles! they are both playing well keep them in!

I have King in the team. But we can't play King, Mcmahon and Hislop in the same team. We should make a rule that only 1 play

From my point of view, he doesn't do enough. Also, for the players I want to bring in I have to make omissions. Tom is one of them.

I have to agree, he doesnt do enough, surely we have someone who will still do the 1%'s like him but maybe offer a little more.

If not, well, that shows our lack of depth I guess in this area.

Why do posters want to drop Hislop? His past two weeks have the best in his time at the club?

:)IT'S like Pavlov's Dog, Tug .... conditioned response.

A lot of the posters on here, they see the word "changes" in a thread, and it invokes the words Hislop, King, McMahon as outs, as it invariably does for some the word Hughes as an in!!!!

Little logic!!

I disagree, his form prior to the hamstring was pretty poor too. He really has not been good in the past month. Not calling for him to be delisted he must be 20th in line for that. But I am calling for him to be dropped as his form warrants it.

He is very poor overhead and Stanton exposed that and then again on the weekend he was outmarked to easily. Bring in someone who has been showing form in the magoos.

Please tell me who we can bring in. No one is in outstanding form at coburg.

Gimme another option PHX. I'm really struggling with it. There aint much to get excited about at coburg Im afraid. Old mother hubbard.......

Who is this Hubbard guy... I dunno much about him.

Can he hit a target?

Out: white Pattison
In: Rance Graham

Hislop has earned his spot as has king :thumbsu:

Didn’t get to see the game except for the 10min package posted on this board, and in that McMahon had a bout 5 possessions and they were all good. Maybe they were his only 5, so with those and the winning goal he shouldn’t be dropped. So apart from injury, leave the team as is. Stability is more important than the same old rotations that are called for week in week out.

The next 3 weeks are our last 3 home games for the season so I'm guessing some farewell matches will be coming over the next 3 weeks.

Something tells me we could see Simmonds coming in this week in place of Pattison and it would be the only change I can see them making unless McGuanes hand/shoulder doesn't come up.

Bowden would come in for his farewell next week for the Pies game, seeing as it is his testimonial dinner that night and Richo a likely inclusion for the Hawks game.

:thumbsu:WHAT odds are you going to give me Madness on us going three from three, the same three weeks you've rolled out this we can't play all three in the team at once???

But if we can only have one, Hislop is the guy!!!

Hislop is IN plain and simple. King is the one I wouldn't have in but I wouldn't even have him on the list for this year....

Hislop was directly involved in three goals (short passes from half forward to targets in the middle) and he scored one goal himself.

Hasn't anyone noticed that since McMahon has come into the side we have nearly won, drawn or won the game. I think he provides some really decent run and carry from half back.

Theres no way McMahon will go out, Rawlings said he was our best player!

No change. Patto's harshly dealt by posters on here, admiittedly he had the worst 1st quarter ever seen but he ended up with 15 touches and he throws himself in like there's no tomorrow..plus has far more versitile than the big Gus.

I'll give you another option, keep White in. White is quicker, better defensively and has better disposal than Cogs.

I'm not getting sucked into this "hack of the month. Delist." thing we seem to have going, where it's Whites turn this time after previous high-profile appearances from Edwards and Graham just to name a couple who get blown off the face of the earth by keyboard warriors following a trend that becomes "fact."

Nail hammer head....its disappointing. As a consequence we rarely see the sorts of discussions that made this Board complulsory reading for me on a daily basis. FWIW as soon as I thought Sydney I thought Tuck, given he was 4th in the league in contested possessions when he was dropped but he's the only change unless theres others fit or getting farewell games.

I agree with these changes and I also agree they will not drop McMuffin.
All is forgiven after that goal by way to many. Yes he won the game for us but would it have been so close if he had not contributed minimun 2 goals (and there is a solid argument for a third) through earlier turnovers.
His performance was well below par before that match winning kick.

Regardless of the fact that McCheese's goal won the game, he was one who was responsible for us beeing in that mess in the first place - 10 of his 14 kicks didn't find their intended target, including two easy shots at goal.

He, Patto and White should be dropped.
Bring in Bowden, Graham and Cogs or Tuck

Out: Mcmahon, Pattison, Hislop
In: Polak, Graham, Rance

This is probably only the 3rd or 4th time we've played the swans at the mcg this century. Let's crush em

wasnt the last time we played sydney at the MCG in 06 when we lost by 115 points and then beat the undefeated adelaide a week later 'basketball crap'

that aside I think we can win the is one. tuck should definately come in. need his big body against the hard swans.

Nah that was at Telstra. I think the last time we played them at the G was in 2005 when we were up by 40 then the Swans came back and we won by 1 point
