Strange selection, we've lost 2 hard ball winners in De Goey and Seedsman and bought in two outside players in Broomhead and Seeds.

I'll back them in though after the changes had effect last week.

De Goey is very Stiff. Did nothing wrong but thanks to the Idiotic Sub Rule. Got to play in the 2nds where he probably Dominate

The sub rule has to go. Whoever is sub is denied the opportunity to play out a full game and this is bad for match fitness and player development. Stupid stupid rule. NOBODY likes it. Why doe the AFL persist with this stupidity.

I'm happy Broomy is back, has been in the best 2-3 players on the ground the last 2 weeks at VFL level.

I would have brought Gault in though, and even Dwyer, Crows midfield will kill us if Grundy gets tired like he did last week, and we lack inside mids other then the main 3 now.

Yep - Blair would be put under a ton of Pressure and needs a Huge Game. More then just play Defensively well

The exact same thing has happened to us with Lyons going out after being the sub last week. It's a stupid rule.

With Steele out and Bringing in Outside Mids and Grundy rucking nearly the whole game. I don’t like our chances as in the 2nd half we will probably get Flogged in the Midfield

Broomy is as tough as they come, but his slight build means he's more of an outside mid at senior level at the moment.

As I said though, happy to see Broomy and Seeds back, and happy to back the coaches in, selection worked last week.

im surprised ramsey stays in with seedsman coming into the side. Ramsey would have been stiff but would have thought if he retained we should have gone with Gault. Selctors got it right last week so have to bow to their judgement again i guess. Go Pies!!

Crisp should be able to help out and Blair will likely have to play a close to full midfield game. At least I hope he does, just to see what his productivity is like. Williams is another who should be pretty good inside IMO.

i agree with you TD, we are running a big risk when Grundy starts to tire. We really need to break even at a minimum in the ruck with the Big Sauce, and think Grundy needs some help in that regard.

Agree - Grundy early probably go with sauce but when he Tires it has the Potential of getting Ugly Sadly
