In regards to Butler and even others bringing it out of defence Id say its possibly adapting to the new instructions. Rather than blaze away they are now trying to make the correct choice and assess the situation, then get pinged or search for option 3 or 4 when 1 or 2 was the correct call.

It is a difficult one as when they play on, old instincts have them putting the next in line under enormous pressure. Take too long and the result is the same. I feel at least like them taking more time to assess is the new game plan in action, just with poor execution until they get used to it. I so I hope...

Butler and Schofield would be our best players to score goals for the opposition. 2 full blown spuds!

I'd say he will be. Word was he was walking laps at training, and copped a head knock playing for East Perth on the weekend. Also said he seemed hampered by his dodgy ankle. So he will be far from his best I'd think.

Gotta say i disagree.
I went to two games this weekend, Eagles v Bulldogs And carlton v Richmond.

We weren't good, but Carlton were a lot worse.

Their best moments in the game came from richmonds sloppiness and bruise free footy. The moment the game lifted in intensity their kicking was woeful, some of the worse I've seen at afl level. Outside of judd the positives were few and far between.

Now our game was played at a much better intensity, out skills were far better on a whole (believe me they were) and it was just a much higher quality game.

Now I wouldn't put it past west Coast to drop to carltons level, we lack composure in that regard, but in reality we should be favourites especially at home.

Don't give a fig how many lemmings liked your post frankly. You had a crack at Simmo for putting three players in negating roles from the outset. Two of them were in negating roles, the third came off the bench to play at half-forward on a half-back. So we had a tagger in the midfield and someone shutting down their best rebounder, which is pretty much what every club does.
