I know it's very early but here goes:
Here's my changes:

IN: Rusling, Pendlebury, Davies (or Rowe or Booch), Richards (or Fanning)
OUT: Rocca (rest), Buckley (rest), Thomas (Inj), Maxwell (no matchup)

Rocca needs a rest to freshen up and Buckley also needs a rest. Thomas could be injured and Maxwell doesn't really have a matchup. With Rocca out we need some ruck relief, it would also be good to give Richards a run to see if he can offer anything. Likewise with Rusling and Booch/Rowe/Davies.

If I were the club I would not mention that Buckley and Rocca are being rested. I would officialy say Rocca has a shoulder injury and Buckley has "general hamstring soreness".

The team

B: J.Clement, S.Prestigiacomo, R.Lonie
HB: H.Shaw, J.Cloke, S.Iles
C: C.Egan, D.Swan, B.Johnson
HF: A.Didak, T.Cloke, C.Tarrant
F: T.Lockyer, S.Rusling, S.Burns
R: J.Fraser, P.Licuria, S.O'Bree
Int: B.Davies, B.Holland, S.Pendlerbury, G.Richards

EMG: J.Rowe, N.Maxwell, A.Iacobucci

Why not wait till after the Willy game tomorrow to see if anyone else is up for selection next week. My tip is my boy is getting pretty close.

I will read the reports and change it if necessary.
Sorry to be a joy killer but I don't think JA is too close. Timing is against him. We are too close to the finals, we can't afford to carry a rough around the edges key defender. If the season was shot he would be a huge chance but ATM he is behind Clement, Presti, J.Cloke, Maxwell and O'Brien for the same spot.

He maybe doing will for willy, but who's spot does he take in the back line ?

A couple of ways of looking at it. The Pies have a relatively 'easy' run home, so MM might change the mix a little. Who would have thought ILES was up for selection? ROCCA, BUCKLEY and maybe a couple of other senior players may have a rest before finals time. It could be a good time for the selectors to throw in some new blood before the end of season. Stranger things have happened!

Iles was a huge suprise but he could of slot into the team quite easily as we are light on back flankers.
Look at Maxwell, he is struggling to find a spot on the ground.
True he may grab a spot if we decide to rest players. Clement may even be rested after getting a couple of injuries and knocks, however I still think O'Brien is ahead of JA.

Buckley to be rested for sure. Looked a little proppy at times tonight. Give him two weeks to get over any niggles so he's right to come back for the finals.:thumbsu:

Bring back harry.

Watching harry fumble the ball every time he gets it is frustrating... jury still out on harry.

JAJH don't be too eager to get your boy in the side. When he's ready, he will get his chance.

I like the fact that he has plenty of agression. We need some tough nuts in the team, we have a few too many softies in there at present. Don't mind the guys who like a bit of biffo

don't be to eager to rest players and change the team up too much with our run to the finals..

the 4 wins are not in the bag yet.

And with carlton and essendon hitting a sembalance of form, and the fact that they lift against the pies, i wouldnt be surprised if we drop a game against them.

We really needed to win that game tonight... so frustrating, we should have won.

I'd like to see Buckley or Rocca rested. They wont rest both because every game is vital, in fact every score counts because of how close all the teams are on percentage. I would hope Thomas is ok to play this week. Also will J Cloke play? AFL website says he did a hammy.

JAJH is right, this weeks Willy game is important because anybody who puts his hand up is in line for selection. And his boy is definitely ahead of Harry.

I agree Rocca Buckly and Maxwell rested next week. I think Thomas will be able tp play. Depending on the weather in the next 4 games ie if its pelting down with rain and ground is tough going Buckly has to miss to rest his hamstrings. I agree with Dritz also, for the past 4 or 5 weeks everyone has been saying what a dream run home we have, well now the dream run home teams are playing for pride and comeing up with surprises so we need to look out.

Play Rocca as a pinch forward off the interchange.
Buckley might need a spell. He looked like he was carrying an injury.
Thomas is in the clear of any damage. He will play next week.
Maxwell definitely hasn't guarded his spot in the team.

I won't comment further on the Ins and Outs as I prepare to watch Williamstown play today.

Rocca will play against the Dons. Might be good to run him into a bit of form. Buckley may be rested. Thomas will be fine. Doubt Maxy will be dropped because of no match up - his strength is that he can (in theory) play on anyone... J Cloke will be dropped before MAxwell.

Would like to see Pendles come in to the side, maybe for the rested Buckley.

16 possessions and a goal (more than Rocca, Tarrant and Fraser put together) from a flanker not good enough for you?

Your petty racism and stupidity is getting quite old.

Ah using the racism card again. Do you have a brain or not? Funny how you pick out 3 KPP when it was a game where none of them had a chance to get a kick.

Did anyone see Egan squib near the end of the game when Buckley passed to him.

Pathetic and it probably cost us the game.

I have to agree with Hoggy on this one. Chris Egan in the past has been too soft, but the last few weeks he has started to tackle which I havn't seen before. If he can keep that in his game I don't care how many possesions he gets, because he does offer something different to our midfield, that being pace.

Don't feed the Chris Egan troll ;)

Rest Buckley for the Port game.

My thoughts exactly.
Reckon Bucks will play this week against the Dons but wont be getting on the plane the week after against Port.

Changes Vs Bombers
In= Pendlebury
Out= Maxwell
