We are going to have a very tall forward line with Lycett there too. Maybe Simpson is planning on stretching Freo's depleted defence like they will try to do with ours.
Possibly as a second key forward and potential third tall back if needed during the game. Personally, I'm very glad he's getting a chance and will be good for team structure.
The Eagles' coaches having been talking up the significance of the ruck contest in the media. McInnes had his best game a fortnight ago playing in the ruck for East Perth. I wonder if there's a connection there.
yeah don't worry about the three ruck debacle last year that was for amateurs! everyone knows 4 rucks is where its at.

Hope that Fmac is genuinely playing on Sunday, don't think that LeCras is a very good fit at FF... Frase is the logical in, tall for tall (Colledge is obviously also tall, but not a fwd), hope that he won't be the sub (though he will be). Surely he was named as a possible tall fwd option, can't see why else he would be named, since both rucks are fine. So JK at FF, Fmac at CHF. Would love to see how he goes.
If not, even though he needs to show a lot more in the WAFL, would prefer Hill ahead of the other 2, just to have him as an extra fwd. Would rather Nelson and Bennell than Butler, and I don't think we need an extra mid atm in Colledge.

WC's match committee have done enough to warrant such questioning years over past seasons. Such questioning comes at least 6 years later than it should've.
