I think we now have your point over and over and over again now Baz!
Lets now hope that we have a good four quarter game whoever the opposition is.
Lets be honest, a game against Gold Coast is exactly the time we'll see that 1 in 4 type game from Farrell.Marshall and Woodcock are the two obvious outs. Probably won't be much more than that but Farrell really needs to find some more consistency, his best is really good but we only see it once every 4 games.

Schofield looked really classy in the SANFL last week and was definitely one of the stand outs. Has been in the best a number of times this year, give him a shot in the starting 22.
Lienert sub.
I enjoy the #SackHinkley threads, but we don't need the hyperbole in every thread.
I thought we lost because we were stupid and just kept kicking it long to their numbers. The reason we lost is because we lost Marshall?
They obviously didn’t watch the rest of the game.
Sounds like they played as if Marshall was still out there.I thought we lost because we were stupid and just kept kicking it long to their numbers.
If I could look past his obvious lack of physicality which I can't, Bonners only value to the team is to open up the play by changing angles with his kick. From when he returned to the SANFL and his last 2 AFL games he's been predominantly just kicking down the lineI can't see him being dropped. Wasn't nearly as bad as people want to make out. Woodcock and Marshall should be out first, but obviously we are heavy on HBFs.
If Marshall was still out there, Rozee probably doesn’t get the space he does in the first and end up kicking 4 in the first quarter.Sounds like they played as if Marshall was still out there.
I fully agree you, a lot to happen yet. But nevertheless, sadly this post belongs in the 'Unpopular Opinions" thread!Call me RCG but we lost to geelong by 9 points plus 2 joe the goose goals when we had players pushing forward attacking the game and Cameron kicked one out of his clacker.
We were missing Duursma, Butters, Lycett, Clurey, Fantasia and Marshall 3 minutes into the game. We had minimal contributions from Farrell, Woodcock, Bonner, Motlop, Georgiadis, the latter 2 kicking for goal as though they were Stevie J at the peak of his game.
We gifted them 11 turnover goals and received about 5 in return with the usually reliable Allir, Burton and DBJ being the main offenders.
I think geelong have more to worry about than we do with games against Bulldogs, Demons, Brisbane and Tigers to come. We only have Bullies and Demons to go and I am confident we will take the D's at home.
Our upper echelon players will be brought back into the team gradually over the next month and will have time to get themselves into form by September while we have been written off by the masses and have little or no favoritism top of the table pressure to contend with.
The Geelong loss cost us a top 2 chance but we will make the top 4 and then we will find out whether we are good enough to seize the opportunity.
