This game starts at 4.30, so it won't be as hot, but probably slippery. Hoped we learned our lesson from Darwin and take gloves. Hope we go up a bit earlier too.

Wonder how well lit the ground is?

Given a choice between 2 diagnoses, he always takes the more pessimistic of the 2. He has no real insight into the actual injuries because the club doctors would give him the same they give everyone else, nothing. Just because he has a "Dr" next to his name doesn't mean he's not guessing like the rest of us.

I would trust the opinion of a supporter who turns up to watch training regularly and see's who actually out there training and what they are doing than him. Just my 5 cents worth.

Fair call, I to would rather trust a fan at training, than someone with degrees in medicine and physiology and whos been a team doctor for both Geelong and Adelaide and who also has represented Australia as a competitor in middle distance running at Olympic, Commonwealth and World Cup competitions including being captain of the Australian team in 1983.

Agree with you completely Bazzar. Need to try and settle the team a bit after a few changes, injuries and last week's events.

White (if suspended) would be my only out for Foley - though if he is not right by mid week and needs to do a late fitness test, last minute call to decide, I would be more inclined to take a precautionary approach and give him an extra week to recover.

Out: White (if suspended).
In: Foley (if 100% ready to go), Arnott or Webberley (if Foley still has some cloud over him).

Agree completely. He was horrible after he came on. Apart from a 20 min spurt earlier in the year I also am struggling to see how he has been getting a game.

If Webberley is in for White, surely there is someone at Coburg who could do with an opportunity? What about Moore with the subs vest?

That game was Rd 1 2008 (where jake smashed em). Player suspended/reported was Cam Howat who tangled with Adam Hartlett (also suspended IIRC). Not sure I can ever recall White getting reported, always been on the very fair side of angry, think he has taken one or two extra pills from the angry jar, needs to just make a slight adjustment back the other way - from angry to unsociable to remain required player in my opinion as weekend showed he definitely offers something, very good depth player at worst

Makes the incident all the more sillier, because as you suggest, White was showing quite a bit on Saturday and is a good depth player.

Article on AFL site said he just had soreness and because of his history they decided to shut him down. Should be right for this week
