Waite will line up in the back line this week and wont be out of there for most of hte game unless something drastic happens. Pagan has pretty much said that flat out. With that in mind I watched walker take a nice mark (well almost) in the forward line, and think he might be in line to move to the next part of his apprenticeship, from

1 defence, 2 tag, 3 marking, 4 kicking goals to qualified gun ready to be unleashed. I am suggesting he may go to stage 3 forward marking.

We played pretty well aginst the Dees in round one and would be great if we could repeat the performance on Saturday.

Bower must be very close. Would really like to see him get a game before the end of the season.

Unfortunately i'll be flying to NZ on Saturday so I won't be there this week. Hopefully we can come away with a win and get Essendon back on the bottom.

Bannister been pretty quiet last 2 games, a bit stiff id prefer Mcgrath out tho. At least we are blooding Setanta, Blackers and Russell. Hopefully Bower, Hartlett and one of the rookies will get a run in the last 4 rounds.

I'm just rapt that Bryan still in the side as it is a good sign that he may be here to stay!!!

Surprised about Kennedy not included, but good for him to feel success with the Bullants and learn to work his way into the team, instead of thinking he's an automatic. Will be good for him, make him hungrier.

Remember guys that our season is over but the Bullants are flying high. We are still probably trying to get some players qualified so they can play for the Ants in the finals. How many games do they have to play for the Ants to play finals?

Can't recall much about the height of Melbourne in their forward line but I would've thought if we did have one change, it would've been O'Hailpin out and leave Bannister in a BP. I thought he did better on Murphy last week than Set.
