If I were coaching...and not a day goes by that I don't wish I was coaching us:

OUT: PETTIFER, TIVENDALE, POLAK, McMAHON, THURSFIELD (injured).
IN; RIEWOLDT, MORTON, CONNORS, RANCE, POLO.

On form, Edwards would be lucky to hold on. I rate te kid highly and if we are serious about getting gametime in to these sorts of players, he stays.
Same scenario for White, though thought he was okay Saturday., You simply need to get games in to them.

OUT: Pettifer, Tivendale, Edwards, McMahon, Thursty, Bowden
IN : Riewoldt, Morton, Connors, Rance, Polo, Hughes

Moore , Rance, Newman
Tuck, Schultz, King
Tambling, Foley, Richo
Morton, Polak, White
Reiwoldt, Hughes, Cotchin

Simo, Lids, Brown
Int. Polo, Connors, Pato

Tivendale has played his last AFL game.
Polak needs to find a position, ditto Shulz.
Pettifer would have to be in trouble, and the same goes for McMahon. Even if Wallace still thinks the trade was the right move, he is clearly out of form.
Bowden did enough to keep his spot ... just.
Thursty is out injured.
As for the ins, I'll take the advice of those who saw Coburg play. Terry played Cleve in Round 1 so clearly he thinks he's part of the long-term plan.
Jack Riewolt has to come back in, and let's see some more of the kids - Collins, Connors etc.
On another note, what has happened to Daniel Jackson? Seemed to be making some real progress late last year and can't even get a mention as a possible inclusion this week.
Also, did Danny Meyer play yesterday?

Out: Thursfield (inj), Richo (inj), Tivendale, Pettifer

B: White McGuane King
HB: McMahon Schulz Moore
C: Tambling Deledio Newman
HF: Morton Polak Cotchin
F: Brown Bowden Collins
R: Simmonds Tuck Foley
I: Edwards Rance Oakley-Nicholls Pattison

I reckon:

In: JON, Rance, Polo, Cleve, Jack
Out: Thirsty, Tivendale, Pettifer, McMahon, Edwards

Thats what i would like to see.

Get ya head out of the sand, Bowden was good yesty, and has been good since his return. He deserves his spot in the side at the moment.
Once again, someone who looks at stats, not at the game.

Sorry, been out of the loop for a week...did something happen to Raines? Where is he??
Dislocated kneecap in round 2 or 3 I think, he will be back playing next week.

IN: Collins, Connors, Rance, Riewoldt, Hughes, Polo, Morton

OUT: Tivendale, Polak, McGuane, Thursty (inj), Pettifer, Edwards, McMahon

7 changes, but each justifiable.

Thus:

King Moore Rance
Newman Schulz Connors
Polo Deledio Tambling
Riewoldt 'Cho Cotchin
White Hughes Morton

Foll: Simmonds Foley Brown

I/C: Collins Bowden Patto Tuck

I rather like that lineup:thumbsu::thumbsu:

you gotta bring in morton for pettifer too
and maybe polo for tuck
and maybe connors for mcmahon :thumbsu:

I agree, tuck is on his last legs, just not a very good footballer. And mcmahon gets 20 kicks a game - all 50 meters on his own going backwards every time. Time to bring in the kids

People who are asking for 7 changes: do you honestly think that this will happen? I would guess at the very, very most we will make 5, but 2, 3 or 4 in reality is what will most likely happen.

I agree, 4 tops. Unless Richo or Simmo are rested

In reality there is very little chance of McMohan getting dropped this week

Bingo.

We can wish all we like, but four changes will be the absolute most you'll see from Terry.

We can play the kids and get massacred if we want, but an even higher percentage of ferals will call for Wallace's head then. It's not that he doesn't have faith in the kids as some are saying, but it could be they're just not ready - I'd love to see the back end of Tivendale and Hyde on a permanent basis, but they were required to ensure we don't feed our kids to the wolves, although that contention seems to open another can of worms on this board at the minute.

I'm pretty sure we were all disappointed to see how we responded to the Sydney spanking, but if we lose to Melbourne then I'm driving off the nearest cliff. Our form of three weeks ago shouldn't be that foreign to us all, I'd prefer we made the standard two or three changes to spice things up (I'm looking at Connors when it comes to spice), and send a rocket up their slack arses at training this week - take on Melbourne just how they took on Hawthorn and Geelong - f***ing physically early on, and we'll belt 'em.

And after that once again, all shall be quiet on the Western Front.

Did i mention stats AT ALL in my post???? No!
Bowden has been playing a lot better than others in the side since his return, i wouldn't have a clue what his stats are, i just know that i've noticed him out there, strong body that can kick straight, who has a bit of smarts.....he deserves his spot in the side and if he continues with this good form, there will be a spot at tigerland for him for a few more years. He has skill and is calm under pressure, thus can be a leader at this club if he behaves right (by that i mean, doesn't drop his head and do stupid things) the next 2 months wil deside bowdens fate.
You need to read peoples posts before dismissing them.

Bowden, Pettifer, Tivendale. All need to go as since they have come back the old rot has set in again. Mitch Morton definately needs to come back in as i don't know what he did to be dropped in the first place. At least he makes opposition backs work for their possessions. Jackson and Riewoldt should also come back in. I think Edwards would do well to go back to Coburg for a coupla weeks and get some confidence back. Obviously we are not going to change half the team in the space of one week but the first three i mentioned should never pull on a first grade jumper for Richmond again.

West Coast made 6 last week...

I want big numbers. And Miller to F off. Ditto the Board.

1 change...in Hyde out anyone but Tivendale, Pettifer or Bowden. We need these 4 [players to do what they have done and do so well.....____ it up without looking like we are tanking. ;)
