Little chance of Sinclair being dropped IMO. Aside from the fact that he is really pulling his weight (apart from some disposal brain fades), I get the impression that the coach likes him. Not against the idea of bringing in Barrass, although all first gamers are bound to make some stuff-ups, but it's a question of who to drop. I would think Ellis should be a good chance to return with Yeo, perhaps Rosa and Sheed also. Over supply, a good problem to have.

The cohesion as a unit that we've developed has been good so it's hard to see us making any more than 2 changes so that means Yeo back in plus one other - Barass if we want another tall, Sheed if his hand is right or Ellis if they think he's had enough time to get match ready.

Took 2 contested marks in the forward 50 on Sunday. if you even watch the game you will find he hardly was in a position to mark the ball. He actually spends a lot of time off the ground to save him for what he is best at, being a beast around the ball and dominating the centre clearances.

I watch 100% of every game, and attend all VIC games.

He's dropped off in making the most of his marking opportunities, and there is scope to not only return to 2011-12 levels, but to improve even further.

It's really not that bold an assertion. He dropped a number of easier marking chances inside 50 vs Saints & Bullies.

The guy was BOG and had a ripping game. All I'm doing is suggesting room for improvement in one facet of his game.

I wouldn't mind seeing McInnes playing back on Ben Brown. Both have the turning circle of a truck, he can free up McGovern / Schofield and it would be a good education with not much risk. Mclovin could push forward when Petrie rucks too.

I think you will find Ben Brown is quite a bit faster than McInnes though, and would burn him on the lead.

Looked very proppy at training today by all reports, did brown. Still having issues with his knee.

I wouldnt have thought he'd miss a game in his home state, but may be forced to.

I'm a huge advocate for Gov forward in the long term but why screw with the forward structure right now? We are on fire down there.

Would not want to bring back Rosa if returning from a tight hamstring. 2 flights and the cold winds of Hobart are not really congusive to suspect hammies. Let him stay at home for this one. Probably similar for Ellis.

I wouldn't bring Ellis in yet - take the cautious approach and also worth considering is whether he would contribute more than our defenders already have - our running backs have been brilliant this season and Ellis hasn't so far been carving it up at WAFL, so let him build confidence and form and then move him into the main side. Same with Rosa, if Yeo and Sheed replace Bennell and Colledge, which midfielder deserves to go? Our mids are in the best form of their lives - a good selection dilemma but I'd be scared to tamper with the side too much. Duggan to sub unless Sheed is a bit iffy, but I think Duggan would play the role better (I hate Duggan being sub but our team is too full at the moment, yay).

Yep. Gov is always looking for a quick option, and he delivers well it to option he chooses. He's about the best intercept mark in the comp right now, but his creative playmaking makes him really dangerous offensively too.

Not yet IMO, He's been chopping everything off down back and make it possible for the other backs to run off.

Both Eagles and Sydney have had similar draws and after the next 3 rounds, the draws look get even closer. Both teams are 7 and 2 only losses for both have been Freo and Dogs.

By the end of 12 games, we would of played pretty much the same teams bar Saints and Lions for the Eagles and Hawks and Dees for Swans. With the exception of the Hawks, similar degree of difficulty!!

Adelaide supposedly 'walked' into the top 4 in 2012 but were still only a goal away from a grand final.

Sure, Hawkins got a hold of Schoey in the last game but few KPFs play that grappling, man on man, stand your ground and use strength to hold off the defender style (which we don't have an answer to at the moment). Hawkins, Cloke and Walker are the names that come to mind. I don't think any of the North KPFs fall into this category (granted, I haven't seen much of Brown).

I think we make like for like changes size-wise (Yeo for Colledge and, if fit, Sheed for Bennell) and if all hell breaks loose down back we send McInnes down there to help.

I would go with Barass or Shep on Brown. He's much more of a mark on the lead than a contested mark

Hopefully Emac and Browny get to work on their kicking during their rehab. It has been a revelation down back having Schofield (previously the best of our KPD kicks) as our worst option for exiting d50.

Having Hurn, Gov and Buttz as high quality kicking options and playing one less 195-ish cm backman - giving us more run - has made us so much more dynamic coming out of defence. Having the option to switch and run, kick with precision to an option in the corridor and provide run from behind or take a long kick down the line to force a stoppage with our dominant ruckmen has changed the game for us. It's not complicated and based on executing the fundamentals well to retain possession. This means we are unpredictable coming out which means the oppositon has to cover more ground which, in turn, creates space to operate.

You listen to Simmo now and he is talking about getting this type of play "instinctual". To me this means the players execute the structures faster, can rely on their teammates to be working to the right areas and can sum up the play and choose the more damaging option more often. This speeds up decision making and starts to make the side look very fast over the ground.

I think when players come back from Injury who are best 22 IE Rosa, Ellis & Darling they should spend the time in the ressies getting some match fitness and let players like Main develop in the league.

If Norf bring in Magical Door, & Swallow, I reckon we'll struggle. Swallow is quality, obviously, but if they have a forward line of Petrie, Waite, Daw & Brown our backs will get dominated. Granted if Daw comes in probably Brown goes out, but still, 3 genuine tall forwards against our makeshift KPD defenders, could get ugly.
