Lol what’s this “stiff” business with Varcoe?
He hasn’t registered a goal and isn’t getting his hands on the footy.
This was the most logical choice for Adams to come in for our weakest form player which is Varcoe by a mile at the moment.

I know Varcoe provides good pressure in the forward 50 but his first two games have been very quiet this season, he needs to get a bit more of the ball or hit the scoreboard to stay in the side.

I know Varcoes had a lot of supporters, with the “you must not watch games if youre dropping Varcoe” comments getting thrown around, but i’m not massively surprised. Varcoe wouldn’t be satisfied with a 9 and 5 disposal game, and i hope this drives him to play good VFL footy to make his way back in the side, thats a key to us becoming a better side.

Sucks seeing some of the guys miss out, but atleast it shows where we are as a football club compared to the 2014-2017 era.

It’s realy really tight for a few spots - as it should be.

This is a great sign. That good players are missing if they aren’t at their full metal.

Not too fussed was going to be one of Varcs/Aish/Greenwood/Thomas... none of them really desvered to be dropped but Adams is simply a must in

Disappointing - I would have dropped Thomas before Varcoe, and even he would have been very stiff.

Sure, 5 turnovers versus 0 isn’t good, but it’s easy to have 0 turnovers when you only touch the ball 5 times.

And of course stats aren’t everything, but that’s a big discrapancy there.

I think being the lowest metres gained for 2 weeks running must have been the killer. You need better from a HFF.
