Personally since West Coast are terrible I would like to see some young blood get into the side such as a Collins, Conners, Rance, or Meyer. I'm preying Meyer shows us his full potential and becomes sucessful, through watching his last quarter he seems to have turned the corner a bit.

We should play the young guns but we need to beat WCE too have a chance at the finals so. I wouldn't play them this early. Maybe if we start winning some more games chuck them in when we vs Melbourne or Freo we need this win.

To much to risk throwing them in just yet. The young players are doing fine atm 2 changes i would make would be
Jarrad Oakly nichools Out for Collins or Rance
And Patto out for Cartledge.

Hyde out for Collins
Simmo rested for Graham
Also dont be surprised to see Cleve rested this week as a result of the Polak aftermath, if so I'd say give Rance a shot.

Poor old JON. People want him dropped even when he didn't play.

King, Schultz and Graham would be the guys pushing for inclusion I think.

Without ever seeing him play would have thought Collins would have to get a run next week. Has been in our best couple two weeks in a row.

Bring in Edwards, Meyer, Rance, Collins, Connors etc...

We will see alot of new names but remember its an extended bench as its a sunday night game...

King is already in the side. I hope we see Collins but with 2 tall players out (Richo/Polak), I'd say Schulz will be back and hopefully Thursfield.

Collins for Hyde would be the only other change.

Right. I was just watching him run around today and forgot he was part of the Carlton debacle.

OUT: Richo, Polak, Hyde
IN: Schultz, Thursfield (or Graham if he's not ready), Meyer

My changes and lineup:

B: Newman, Thursfield, Moore
HB: Connors, Schulz, McMahon
C: White, Tuck, Cotchin
HF: Polo, Riewoldt, Bowden
F: Morton, Hughes, Brown
FOLL: Simmonds, Deledio, Foley
I/C: Collins, King, Graham, Johnson
EMG: Meyer, Tambling, Pattison

IN: Schulz, Connors, Collins, Thursty, Graham
Out: Richo (inj), Polak (inj), Tambling, Hyde, Pattison

I like the look of that team PR but would leave Tambling in and leave king out.
King has really let himself down this year with his disposal, Tambling has been good most of the year, Carlton game accepted but should not be dropped based on that performance, he certainly was not alone.
He just has a level of polish that we can ill afford to leave out of the side.

Yeah really tossed up between King and Tambling. Wasn't sure which way to go.

Still aren't.

I would Have Putt in the team before Graham

Dean Putt
202.5 cms 89.5Kg
19 Years old
Would be a bitter option to throw in against Westcoast because He's Taller which would be better to face off against Cox in the ruck. And he can play foward and throwing him down foward would be deadly for WCE to man up on him because The only person tall enough would be Cox and they wouldn't want to risk throwing him back backline, because he dominates the ruck. And sets up WCES Plays. With Cox playing backline on Putt richmond will dominate the centre clearences because WCE'S Back up ruckman Mark Seaby would be forced to go in ruck against Troy simmonds.

So Thats why i think richmodn should bring Putt in and play him out of the ruck and into the foward line. Putt will be richmonds main ruckman in 2-3 Years

Putt, Graham, Pattison, And Maybe Warnock Would dominate. That's why i think Putt should be put in the side for a couple of games to see what it is like to play at AFL Level and would be a big bonus for him going into next year.

My changes and lineup:

Out: Richo (inj), Polak (inj), Tambling, Hyde, Pattison
Judging by the reports that went around today, I wouldn't be 'rewarding' Connors with a game. Would go with Edwards or Meyer as the only change I would make to that.

*Note to self, stop forgetting to include Will.

I agree with those changes phoneix. alothough tambling proabaly won't get dropped. Like you said it is a toss up between him and king.

Pick 51. Dean Putt
Recruited from:
CALDER CANNONS
DOB: 10/04/1989
Height: 202.5cm Weight: 89.7kg
Position: Ruckman
Bio: Athletic, tall and possesses good speed and endurance combination, highlighted by 2.93sec for 20m and 14.1 beep test at the recent NAB AFL State Screening Session.

Thats good to hear Big man has good speed and lasted 14.1 on the beep test. For a big man he's side thats great, If he put on a couple more kgs i would think wallace would play him. He played that joker Jarrad Oakly Nicholls he should play Dean Putt. Throw him into the ruck and rest him down at Full Foward. Would Have a great lead on the some the fullbacks like fletcher wakelin and that. Good signs From him.:thumbsu:

I Just hope wallace plays him for a couple of games for experince to go into next year.

Angus Graham

Jumper Number44Height200Weight93DOB16/04/1987Recruited FromCurrie (Tas)/Assumption College/Calder U18Career Matches2Career Goals0

Angus is a good player i would give him a run but we need someone like Putt in the team. Putt is Tall fast and can play fowardline. Would throw him in for a couple of games:thumbsu:.

Putt needs to play well for the Coburg 1sts before Wallace even considers calling him up. Graham deserves a game first.

King would have to be one of the most crucial players in our backline. He brings in the mentality of running off halfback and takeing risks, my god he has been very good for us this year.

Just a rough lineup with richo not playing Putt would be a good target up foward.
I put Tuck on the bench because i went for a more Younger midefield + Fast midfield would be great against WCE With the likes or Kerr Priddis Fletcher Masten etc.

Pick 18. Alex Rance
DOB:
9/10/1989
Height: 192.3cm Weight: 87.6kg
Recruited from: SWAN DISTRICTS
Position: Tall defender
Hard running player who provided WA U18s with great rebound from defence in their Championship-winning team. Won All-Australian honours.

Mmm i might be but if Putt plays 2 games in the coburg 1sts and gets in the best players and kciks some goals he may get selected. Graham will get put in thiss week, but mmm, I really dont know.

You dont know what wallace has up his sleves. He was silly putting oakly nicholls into the team you dont know what he will do.

Wouldn't mind seeing Graham in and Patto out. If Patto was dropped, would he be Coburg's #1 ruckmen ahead of Cartledge? Patto needs some time at Coburg and needs to work on hitouts.

For all the hype on Connors, it doesn't sound great. I just hope people on here will stop 'pumping' him up now.
