Channel 7

Everytime i see that we're playing on a friday or sunday i cringe because it means that channel 7 will be doing the telecast.
The whole commentry team are hopeless. Bucks and Schwarze we're good footballers but no nothing about commentating, they barely no the players names, they say irrelivant things that mean nothing and their "special" comments are just obvious things that happened (great mark, poor kick).
Bruce and Dennis talk just talk absolute pies and go on and on about shit no-one cares about...seriously who gives a shit about the "fat bit of the post!!!" its been there for the last 50 years...get used to it!
And even the telecast its self is hopeless, they show way too many adds and they always play the replays whilst the game is still going.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the channel 9 team.

I love channel 10's coverage. Not a fashionable opinion, I know, but you just get the feeling that they absolutely love their footy and have to be dragged off air at 11pm on a Saturday after 8 straight hours. I reckon attitude comes from the top down, and it feels like channel 7 just tolerate the footy as something they have to do because if they didn't do it, Channel 9 would be doing it.

Hate Channel 7, they can show friday and sunday games live but choose not too, why the #### not?
Don't mind Buckley though, but Schwartz is a dick.

Fox sports has the best commentators. Love Dunstall and Parkin with the special comments. Basically it's more professional with better people calling.

I can tolerate seven and ten though.

Ch. 7 makes me rip my hair out.

Love it when someone kicks a goal, they show 3-4 replays, talk about it for 20 seconds, show the players back in position, ready for the next bounce, you think 'sweet, no ad' then BANG gets you when you least expect it and you have to watch a flipping commercial for the next minute and a half. Argh, enough to make you throw the remote through the screen. (Whilst ripping your hair out).

CH. 10 is fine, in comparison.

What would I give to have Eddy back commentating a Collingwood game?

"Welcome to Channel 7's five hour delayed broadcast of the St Kilda and Carlton game. Channel 7 are quite shit so we need to use it as a ratings weapon so it leads into the 6'oclock news. Now we'll go into a five minute ad break and then it'll be handed over to a bunch of ########s who have no clue what they're talking about"

uhh... I fukn hate channel 7... And apparently a tree outside of my place stops me from getting foxtel and my parents aren't cutting the tree down... COME BACK CHANNEL 9! WE WANT LIVE FOOTBALL!

Yep - who came up with that? You're not going to remember the ad cause you're too busy throwing something at the TV or cursing at Ch 7.

But then they don't replay something at all when they should! Ch 9 might have replayed things a bit often, but it's better than getting nothing.

I hated Buckley when he spoke as a player (wasn't FIGJAM for nothing), but he has been improving. Friday night wasn't his best work though.

Dennis still makes me laugh, but Bwooce and Boof Head Schwartz are very ordinary.

I just get so frustrated by how everything to Bruce is a rhetorical question: "It was a big call putting Gram on Judd, wasn't it?", "Oh, he's given that everything he's got, hasn't he?", "Gee, the game's come alive now, hasn't it?!"

And I found Buckley's attitude to Fev after the game the other night really shoddy - so the guy tries to be sportsmanlike, "well done, you were the better team on the night, no hard feelings..." type stuff. Bucks acted like the only way to be a good footballer is to be a sullen, rude scumbag.

There must be some history there.

Bucks was into Fev from very early on, and the end of the game stuff gave him an opportunity to stick the boots in.

Could have left it at "I don't like that ... don't like it at all" which would have said everything, but then Ch 7 replayed it and Bucks did a diagnostic (complete internal examination!).

As I said, not his best night.

As for Bwooce, not at all "special". Always looking for affirmation - did you like what I said? Oh you did? I needed that. Can we hug now?

I cannot believe that Bwooce has gone through his whole life without realising he is gay.
( Not that there is anything wrong with that ).
