Channel 9 you are a disgrace

It is a disgrace that they have a discraced player commentating on the bloke whose spot he is after when his ban is up.

It is also sending a poor message to young players that if you break the drug code you will be rewarded with a commentry gig.

Very poor form.

And his laugh just cracks me up....He was also good value when he appeared on the ABC's "The Fat".

Harsha is just fantastic - I couldn't stop laughing when he was trying to remember Australian slang. I wonder if they will give him another bottle of vegemite at the end of the series.

Does anyone know why 9 is behind. Do they do that to discourage people from listening to the radio. Because when given the choice everyone I know prefers the ABC coverage but it gets very annoying having them out of sinc.

the tv broadcast is relayed via satellite, hence the delay.

It's almost like Kerry is trying to contain his laugh everytime. You can hear him trying to stop but it's like a chain reaction. It's one hell of a laugh and he's a good story teller. Loves to tell people he had to brush his teeth with fanta on a tour of india!

He's just not as effective on tv as radio. I remember he did an ING game - NSW against the Vics - he seemed very restricted and tried to be calm - didn't last long as he burst out and did one of those signature laughs!

I think Kerry O'Keeffe is pure gold, and a welcome breath of fresh air to those of us who have grown a little tired of the "stiffer" commentary over the years.
Sure, I like to hear intelligent conversation and in depth analysis of the game, but I also love to have a laugh as well. Keep it up Kerry, it's great radio.
