Which makes it even more ridiculous. Slime have the rights to both Wimbledon and the GP, which is why we are missing out. There is a good chance Sunday night there will be no tennis due to rain, but instead of watching the GP we are going to have to watch replays of other tennis matches!

the Herald Sun Television Guide (in Melbourne) a few months back, had a letter from a reader who was majorly disappointed with Channel 9's coverage (or lack of it). The Editor replied that Channel 10 might do a better job next year.

Was it a tongue-in-cheek reply ? Or have Channel 10 actually won the rights to F1 next year ?

That might have been my letter - they have had quite a few.

The contract does run out at the end of this year, and it does appear that Channel 10 may bid for the rights.

Personally I would prefer it if a similar deal was done as the Moto GP - live on Foxtel and delayed on free to air.

Ch10 aren't much better.They run the Moto Gp's/Superbikes & Cart races after midnight,when they actually could be shown a lot earlier.

I wish Foxtel were able to show F1 GP's live.I watch the superbikes & Moto Gp on FOXTEL & the coverage is usually finished by 11PM.
