But you won't be able to pay the games you buy when the world ends

Its like the people who have actually bet money on how the world will end with Sportsbet. If you lose, you're money is gone, if you win, you're dead

Bets are void if the world doesn't end. They wouldn't put up a market where you can only lose, that'd be PR suicide. Instead they put up a market where you can't win, but can't lose either. Worked a treat looking at the exposure it's got them, even getting a mention in a cheap video games thread...

haha.

Sleeping Dogs on AU PSN (with Plus) was actually cheaper than it's ever been on Steam (including US Steam) FWIW. ;)
http://www.steamprices.com/us/app/202170/sleeping-dogs

PSN+ $22.46 (without Plus $24.95)
Steam $24.95

Plus it had those 3 DLCs included on PSN (Retro Triad, Red Envelope, and Street Racer), which are $8 all up on Steam - so make it 50% off (to get $24.95), that would add another $4 to the Steam price.

Was a great deal. Especially considering PC RRP is nearly always cheaper. Plus also the Aussie price gouge with games in general (which is not applied to the AU Steam version of Sleeping Dogs).

I love Steam sales as much as the next person, but some of the PSN deals in AU and US lately have been pretty good. No doubt most prices are very steep on PSN, but it seems to be gradually improving, sometimes.

Current AU PSN deal:

Hitman Absolution - $39.95 (or with Plus $33.96)
on Steam AU (currently a Daily Deal) $29.99

Not too bad for a fairly new game.

I got Two Worlds 2 on US PSN with Plus for $5 the other day, even if US Steam has a daily deal at 75% off (it's currently 50% off), it will still be $7.50.

Hmm, strange.
HOLY SHIET, $22.46 if you pay $60 a year?

christ, it's been $20 about a hundred times on steam.
but you're going on about the price like it's unbelievable. all i'm saying is it's been done before for cheaper, numerous times.
;)

Poor PAdman.

Good thing I got Sleeping Dogs in that deal.:D

Two of the best games of all time (Vice City & Half Life 2) get outvoted by Bioshock.

Bethesda Complete Collection $28 (Steam keys). Contains:

Brink complete pack
Dishonored
Doom 3 BFG edition
Fallout 3: GOTY
Fallout New Vegas - ultimate edition
Hunted: the Demons Forge
Rage
Rogue Warrior
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind GOTY
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion GOTY Deluxe
Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

I can only assume the price is an error, so it won't last long.

Good luck getting on, though - their site is being hammered.

I was really annoyed when the price went up because I still hadn't even made it to checkout. However, when I checked my cart, the bundle was still there at the discounted price. After another half hour of reloading, I finally managed to complete the purchase - and even got another 5% off thanks to a coupon!

The best thing is that they have individual keys. I only wanted New Vegas and Skyrim, and will hang on to Dishonored because it's apparently great, but I'll try to sell the others.

I managed to get it after spending nine hours back and forth reloading pages etc. After the maintenance this evening I was able to activate my account and the package was still in my orders, listed as pending. From there it all worked and I now have a spare copy of Skyrim.

Glad you guys got it.

I'm checking my orders page - I went to PayPal multiple times so it's quite possible I have multiple orders awaiting my confirmation.

Edit check: I have 6 orders pending.

Here's a deal - legit bargain for anyone interested. Psychonauts is $2.50 on Steam for the next 28 hours.

I have the following Steam key (Bastion and Super Meat Boy, et al have already been claimed)

I already have Amnesia, Sword & Sworcery and Limbo on my Steam account. If anyone wants those 4 games and can trade me for Psychonauts you'll have 4 games for $2.50.

Bought it for $13 with the deluxe version included and Far Cry 1 and 2 (deluxe versions) a couple of days ago.

Had I not been flat out studying I'd have posted here.

Keep an eye on Reddit.

NBA 2K13 is $15 on Amazon (Steam download) for today only.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die edition is also $15 and Scribblenauts Unlimited is $7.50.
