Glad I'm not the only one that feels this way. Like another **** supporter posted 'it feels like Sydney have just won a chook raffle', not a Premiership Cup.

Can't still get my head around how Sydney are Premiers, it seems they're the only type of flags (soft years) they're capable of winning. lol

I beg to politely disagree there sorry. You've still got to win them, and Sydney's premiership was nothing if not hard earned. Look at what they had to do:

- In the last 4 rounds of the home and away season, they lost to Collingwood and Hawthorn at home, and then to Geelong away. Not good preparation for the finals.
- They beat Adelaide pretty comfortably in Adelaide in the first final. We couldn't do that - Adelaide thrashed us there.
- They beat Collingwood in the Prelim. They hadn't beaten them in 11 games. We couldn't beat Collingwood either time.
- Finally, they beat Hawthorn in Melbourne, where their record is poor, and with injured players. And after being 12 points down with 10 minutes left.

Say what you want, and I freely admit I haven't rated them that highly over the last few years (mostly because we've got an excellent record against them), but you can't fault what they've done. To defeat two top four teams during the finals that beat you just before the finals is very impressive.

We can take an enormous amount of encouragement from this Swans Flag - 2 over 7 years and with only 4 or so players from 2005.
Combination of smart recruiting , grabbing experienced players to plug gaps and a very good internal Development Program - has a certain familiarity about it doesn't it?
Maybe Caddy and Stevens can be our version of Kennedy and Mc Glynn?
We're on the right track , let's hope we can execute in 2014 !!
