Very disappointing game from him, I just dont think our style of play suits him at all. He barely touches it, he's possibly not thr right type of striker for us.

Far out, both those goals conceded are the type you pull your hair out with.

First one, we've got a 3 vs 1 in the air off the throw in. The one bournemouth player wins the header...

Second one, Chalobah flicks it on right infront of goal. He's made some poor errors of late, the missed clearance vs Newcastle was another howler.
I just don't think he should be a starting defender.

Still feel we need a mature, experienced, high quality CB.

We have 1 pt ftom last 2 home games, should've been 4. Villa draw and really should've won this. So frustrating and I'm pissed off.

Maresca was the never right fit for us in my opinion, but we have some serious structural problems with our owners and SDs.

I think he's given it his best shot and results have been decent without being spectacular. There's still a gap between us and the top PL teams, but he did well to win the Club World Cup and the Conference League.

I was a big fan of retaining Pochettino at the time of his departure, so I've always been slow to come around to Maresca admittedly.

I think some blame has to be attributed to Maresca for our underperformance in December, but the real target of our ire has to be directed at the owners and sporting directors who have escaped too much scrutiny for my liking.

I also wasn't a fan of Maresca but I think he's done pretty well. Clearly he's been let down with a lack of control on signings. It's obvious we need some more maturity in the team, sounds like Maresca wanted a CB signing when Colwill got injured but got rejected. I'm blaming the club on this one and I don't like that he's leaving.

Probably should have gotten sacked once he changed management and started flirting with other clubs.

Pretty cowardly the way he leaves. He hasnt got the credits in the bank to want to be able to call all the shots and he knew the project when he signed.

Hopefully the next guy can get us playing more interesting football.

I wanted Luis Enrique instead of Poch. Was annoyed when he went on to have a lot of success with PSG, but I was mollified by Maresca outclassing him at the Club World Cup. Now I once again wish we had signed Luis Enrique. But he probably would have fallen out with Eggman too and left.

Meanwhile, the rumours are linking Maresca to succeeding Pep when he finally decides to leave City.
