I especially liked when he was attacking the ball inside 50 and a Scum player pinched a mark in front of the "Raging Bull". He got up really gingerly and Dawes just walked off like nothing had transpired at all....
God I hope he realises what a massive unit he is and embarks on a reign of terror within the fifty metre arc, striking fear into any who stand in his line of flight.

The first step in playing like the big man he is. Another promising sign.

Kudos to Dawes for Sunday. (Haven't been a big fan but have hoped he would improve)

Hope he keeps improving as we need him for our structure.

Was even more impressive in his post-match interview with the bitter Robert Walls.

My biggest worry with Dawes recently has been the way he always goes for a chest mark and doesn't mark with his arms extended. Numerous times on the weekend he put his big dukes out there and clunked a few. Hopefully this can continue.

Good point.

Don't think I've seen Dawes perform on a quality backman yet. Not that Jack has really done so either (has he?) but at least Jack has SOME runs on the board.

Having said that, Dawes IS at least starting to show something.

Kicked 3 goals against Rutten and in a final none the less.
