It is pretty obvious to me that what we lack is an on-field leader... If we fail this year, and Thompson goes, should we offer the world for Chris Judd? I think we have a lot of players on our list who would look a million dollars playing next to someone like Judd. If Rowan Jones can look half decent, there's a chance for all of them. Perhaps Judd is what we need, and would be the Xfactor in making our mediocre players good enough to take us to a flag?

I don't really rate Embley and Hunter any higher than a Corey or a Bartel. They're just made to look better because of Cousins and Judd.

Embley BOG 2006 Grand Final not a bad effort in front of Cousins and Kerr although personally I thought Kerr should have won it.

I don't really rate Embley and Hunter any higher than a Corey or a Bartel. They're just made to look better because of Cousins and Judd.

You need to watch more West Coast games. Embley gets his own ball and is very effective with it, Hunter has presence like that of a Mooney. Bartel and Corey are well and truely over rated.. They never hurt the opposition.

I'd trade both Bartel and Corey for Embley tomorrow!!

Embley is a natural talent, Bartel is a hard worker. We need more talent in our side I think. Especially with regards to disposal.

The main reason that he couldn't is that you would need to trade the better half of your list to get him. At a guess, you would think 3 first round draft picks, 2 of which would be top 5, certainly top 10. I guess you could get away with the 2 top 10 picks if you threw in someone special. Regardless, the trades you would need to get those picks would absolutely kill your list.

I cannot think of too many players on your list they would look at, but you would think on top of their list would be players such as G Ablett, T Hawkins, plus draft picks.

In the end it is not worth trading with WC under any circumstances. You guys have a history of being burnt by them as badly as we have.

Really wouldn't want those 2 at the club. Eagles have just got a shedload of talent in the middle (and a fair bit around the rest of the ground), but geez, what a bunch of w@nkers off the field.
