Apparently it is exactly the same as brown and fev and they are both fine.

If I were you I'd be more concerned with Riewoldt's bone-on-bone knee problem. Might struggle to play another 3 years.

played alright this season won our b&f and recieved most brownlow votes for our club, i dont think we r concerned .. maybe we can trade him for the number one pick in the nd u r getin next year if he doesnt perform

The Saints are concerned. It WILL cut his career short. Just a matter of when. Degenerative knee problems (e.g. Hammil, Voss, Whitnall) can't be fixed with surgery. Probably got 3 years. It's already bone-on-bone. Not a good sign. Judd's injury is no where near as serious as Riewoldt's.

Now is not the problem. 2-3 years will be the problem. The Saints injury management has been woeful, and hasn't helped matters.

I don't think Judd will play any decent footy (or maybe any footy at all) until around round 13 next year. After next year, If it's handled properly and Carlton managment don't just ignore everything and play him through injuried, he'll be back to about 90-95% by 2009.

Well actually they can, its called microfracture surgery, performed regularly in the US. I dont know why aussie sports do not do it.

It essentially is a 12 month recovery period but if followed correctly allows people to return to full fitness.

I suppose the year out scares people off and they think they can manage it, which evetually finishes them.

100% correct. I couldn't remember the name but knew there was a procedure popular in the NBA which could restore knee cartilage.

Love or hate the clubs in the AFL, I dont think anyone should hope another guys gets injured. If your team is good enough which I am confident we will be soon, there is nothing more satisfyling than knocking off the opposition when they are at full strength.

Personally I would like to beat everyone as I love the Blues, but would really love to knock off the Saints as they have been to good for us recently and would like to do it with a fully fit Riewoldt. I hope he plays for another 10 yrs as he is great to watch, and very courageous. Further I would also love to see Judd in action for another 10 years as well as he is electrifying, we should not have any bad wishes on any of these great players or even the ordinary ones.

The Doctors do a great Job when doing groin ops
i'd hate to go through that but shows how easy groin injuries can Happen in any sport you reckond when their young like that they would recover quicker then older people say over 40ish
