Any info on Chris Knights handy? How's his rehab going, looking good to push for selection next season?

Hope so, I really rate Chris and would have him on our Half Forward in best starting 22 anyday!

yeah thats it - how many knee recon's for him now? 3 or 4?

He was slow as a wet week before he got injured this year (again:(). Don't hold out hopes for him being anything more than serviceable in his time at Tigerland unfortunately.

Had high hopes as I rate him. But sadly will be let go once his contract has been fulfilled.

Disagree with this, thought he was starting to look really good, getting comfortable in the side before he went down... although I agree it'll be tough for him to get back. All the best to him...

Disagree that he's slow?

I also disagree 100%. he was coming into great form before his injury. He has a good burst of pace but I will see he isnt fast but importantly he is smart. The direction he gives to the forwards and mids was really missed.

As to how he is, he was at Mad Monday. rehab is going really well. Lock for a early preseason with a 100% fresh injury free body

His game against Fremantle was fantastic!! And was causing Port some early headaches untill his knee went. His injury happened right in front of where I was sitting, was shattered for him.

Right in front of you?!?!

Could have used his experience out there on Sunday - hopefully he is fit and firing for preseason :thumbsu:

Yep, with you on this. I was not happy at all when we lost him :(

Agree, he was hitting some great form when his knee buckled. I'm not sure how his rehab is going, but I'm sure it's going fine as he's been through this a few times now and knows how to handle it.

I had a meal with Chris Knights girl and her family 2 weeks ago and she said Chiris has started running and all is well and he should be able to do a full Pre season.

Thought he was playing some good footy, but seriously you just can't get your hopes up in these situations.

It was like with K. Moore's injuries, we were waiting so long and then when he finally got back he was ok but I think reality hit everyone that it was over for him.

Most importantly he is our most accurate kick on goal.

His goal kicking ability would have had us in the top 4. Had he had stayed fit he would have been recruit of the year.
We need him fit and firing.

He started slow but come the Fremantle game he kicked (I believe) 3 goals, and just kicked a goal as he got injured two weeks later. He was warming up to it.

He's already had his holiday so will be staying here doing rehab over the break.
