The other thread was started awhile a go, so I thought it was best to start a new thread.

Anyway, the 2 hour premiere of season 3 started 15 minutes ago in the States. I'll be downloading as soon as it's up.

I'm not sure when Fox 8 will be showing it. They've finished season 2, and are actually repeating it daily on Fox 8 now. There's no reason for there to be any delay, but they'll probably end up a couple of weeks behind at best.
 
The first two eps were great, also rated fantastic in america

From 9-11 p.m., a special two-hour Sunday third-season debut of “Chuck” (2.9/7 in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall) captured the show’s highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 2, 2009, the night of a special 3-D episode aired one day after the Super Bowl. In key male demos, “Chuck” delivered its highest ratings since December 3, 2007. In the time period, “Chuck” ranked #2 among the major networks in all key adults-male demos — men 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 — and #1 in those male categories from 10-11 p.m.

Versus its “live plus same day” average for originals last season, “Chuck” was up last night by 21 percent in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.4) and up 12 percent in total viewers (7.442 million vs. 6.624 million).

Glad to have it back.

Missed it heaps.

I know it sounds clingy but I really hope the Buy More stays frequent, not much shown in the first 3 episodes, and nothing in the 3rd episode at all. The more Jeff and Lester the better.

Also Awesome better be okay!!!
 
Loved all 3 season 3 eps so far, probably my favourite show now.

Is it wrong that I found Emmett dying really funny? I'll miss Tony Hale, he was hilarious.

It had to be done. Trust me it was needed not just because of where last season finished but also in order make what happens in the 8 ep Shaw(Brandon Routh) arc work.
 
Loved the First 5 episodes.

The introduction of Shaw into the series for the season I think has been excellent(the actual first scene with him was as good a character intro as I've seen on any show).

He is the catalyst that was needed to move the overall chuck storyline along, and KK as usual is cute as a button.

so look forward to each episode. Geez that break during the olympics is gunna suck.

storyline wise there is not much further they can go, unless they end the season, and continue with the same storyline for 1 or 2 more.


But remember, it was cancelled after season 2 despite being one of the highest rating shows in the US

Uh what? it was never cancelled and was never one of the highest rating shows.

This season it is the highest rated 1 hour scripted show NBC has and is 3rd highest show on NBC(although that is not that impressive a boast given NBC's ratings).

However this year they have taken on the harder 8pm slot on monday against house and DWTS in the US and increased the ratings*was at 9pm last season). If it holds it ratings it has now it gets season 4 easily but it can't afford to drop much at all from where it is now.

Are you thinking of another TV show?

There's a bunch of places they can take the storyline. It's just a spy show. You don't even really need an overarching storyline. Some of the best episodes of the show have been stand alone eps, like Chuck VS Tom Sawyer.

And yeah, as mentioned, it was never one of the highest rating shows. The ratings were actually pretty abysmal, and the show really only survived because NBC didn't have much else and a campaign by fans to buy a bunch of Subway.
 
I love Chuck and have enjoyed it's all seasons 1-3 episodes. but season 3 is not so interesting as much it's season 1 & 2. Season 3 somewhat episodes are good but i think overall with it's season 3 it's pick goes to down.

the last three episodes have exploded, they have been just brilliant, my favorite show on tv atm, also does anyone hate shaw as much as i do, i wish they would just kill him off or send him to japan or something
