Guys and Girls,

Since we have so many new recruits I think it would be a good idea if we just purged our past indiscretions against our new comers and balance the karma for many reasons.

  • I used to call Jack Watts, "Ha'ck Twats" from behind the goals at away games when he was taking kick ins - for that i'm sorry.
  • I was one of many who participated in the Jack Watts lolfest across BigFooty as he struggled to have an impact for Melbourne - for that i'm sorry.
  • I used to call Motlop all sorts of expletives when he did his finger twirl - for that i'm sorry.
  • I definitely went over to the Geelong board and lol'd at the shape Motlop was in when he returned for pre-season two years ago. - for that i'm sorry.
  • I wrote off Rockliff as a giant dickhead in charge of a group of dickheads down at Brisbane, that is clearly not the case. - for that i'm sorry.
  • I definitely thought Trengove was finished and revelled in Melbourne failing yet again without considering Trengove and his career. - for that i'm sorry.
I have cleansed, my brethren. In the interests of our new players, our team and ourselves - purge the bad karma. There is a poll for you to own up with, too.

Always thought Watts was treated poorly and would have flourished in a better environment.

Rocky has always been one of my favourites.

Motlop maybe? For when he came back to preseason fat lol.

Trengove I always just felt sorry for, has never had a chance to show what he really has got.

It's weird I always had this feeling Watts would play for us one day, what is even more weird is I had that exact feeling about Ryder.

Ok who else do you have a feeling about that they will one day play for us?

I sure as hell didn't. Shit still feels bizarre regarding every one of our pick ups.

My search history involving Rockliff was not a pretty sight. To say I never liked him at Brisbane would be putting it mildly. Plus the campaigner cost me my 2014 Supercoach grand final

The rest I was fine with other than Motlop’s ****ing finger twirl. Which will of course become the greatest thing ever when he does it after his fifth goal in a Showdown.

During the trade period there was a claim that "Jack Watts wants to be a Cat"

I said he'd make a better cat than a footballer anyway.

In all truthfulness I never had strong feelings about Jack Watts either way, I just wanted to be funny and get cheap likes.

I love you Jack.

As none of them played for the fruit tingles I didn't have strong feelings either way.

I remember feeling a tad sorry on occasion for Watts with the continued references to his number 1 draft pick status, and sometimes found Motlop's finger twirl a tad annoying, but none of the oppo players we picked up have ever stirred up my emotions the way Jerka Jenkins, or that Rhodes scholar the slow Texan can.

I’ve always liked Watts, Trengove and Motlop.

Rockliff I didn’t rate super highly, but I’m hoping I was wrong about that.

As for your apologies Dr. Feel, come on mate we all know if you had your time again you’d still yell out “HACK TWATS”. That is hilarious.

Always acknowledged Rockliff as a big possession winner in a struggling group but doubted the quality of what he did with it, and definitely questioned some stuff that came out of his mouth. It's up to him to keep his foot out of his mouth and keep both feet and mouth where they belong. Not sorry. Very excited.

Watts, well I joined in those games on Bigfooty without really ever watching the player. Sorry! Maybe suffers from laconic-looking-syndrome, like our own Westhoff. Combine that attribute with picked-to-pieces-because-#1-pick syndrome and you have a recipe for moderate career underachievement being seen as a massive underachieving fail by the vultures. Sorry. Just as excited.

Stephen Motlop I was never sure of precisely because of our experience with his equally talented relative Daniel. That mix of attributes just didn't seem what we needed when basic competence, spinal fortitude and later on, a critical bit of flakiness under pressure were our #1 problems in series. Now that our issues seem very specifically narrowed down to a certain resilience in the midfield group and poor finishing up forward, the fit is there. Very happy, not sorry.

Trengove I thought was finished, or at least too big a risk for us to be relying on as a first 22 player. Respect, but sad at the injury that almost took Polec too. Well we're not relying on him, we're hoping for upside from him. It's a bit like Toumpas situation, not in terms of the player but in terms of the price being fair and reasonable for the risk we are taking. Hopeful, not sorry.

Lindsay Thomas, well am I the first to have to 'duck' out of commenting on what I've said about his on field ways in the past? Let's hope maturity brings some balance to his play, and even more weight to his off field contributions that we won't see except reflected in the performances of others. Hopeful, not sorry.

I had no idea at all who Trent was. Sorry!

Just as well we didn't do any trade business with the swampers...
