So will the Browns cut their kicker and then employ another kicker, who was cut from their last team for missing crucial kicks ?

The Chargers kicker Yong-Ho (not sure if sic) was cut early last year after very similar performances to Gonzalez

The Athletic's Jay Glazer reports Josh Gordon is not facing any further suspensions.

The Cleveland media -- which essentially serves as a mouthpiece for the Browns' organization --passed along innuenduo on Saturday that the team believed Gordon was "on the verge of a relapse," which of course is highly irresponsible to even come close to suggest. Per Glazer, Gordon was not on the hook for any further league discipline as of Friday. CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora's explanation for Gordon's departure from the team made the most sense; La Canfora reported the Browns became fed up with Gordon for showing up late to the facility and not making all of his treatments for a previous hamstring injury

Browns waived K Zane Gonzalez.

UDFA "Greg Joseph" is the Browns' new kicker. The Browns had no choice with a kicker who was just 2-of-5 on field goal attempts so far this season. Gonzalez missed back-breaking kicks in each of the Browns' first two games. Gonzalez is a rough 17-of-25 (68 percent) as an NFL kicker. It could be a while before he gets a second chance.

It was more just a comment on how overrated the Patriots way is. These moves don’t work out as often for them as people want to believe.

And from everything everyone has said about Josh Gordon, he won’t care in the slightest. He’ll just do his thing regardless of how the Brady cult acts. If he doesn’t get thrown the ball, he’ll just stop running.

Still a great player to watch, so hopefully it works.

Really shows how out of touch Jackson is as a HC.....we saw plenty of that in hard knocks.....

Hue Jackson claims he was aware of no injury to his former kicker

Former Browns kicker Zane Gonzalez was injured while playing on Sunday. Unless he wasn’t.

In response to news that Gonzalez has been kicking with a groin injury that requires an MRI, coach Hue Jackson said, almost literally, that was news to him.

“I knew nothing about an injury whatsoever so that was new to me,” Jackson told reporters on Monday.

If Gonzalez was injured, he can’t be cut without an injury settlement or placement on injured reserve. And if the Browns insist that Gonzalez was healthy, the stage could be set for an injury grievance.

Either way, it’s not a good look for the Browns. The two potential outcomes are the head coach didn’t know the kicker had a groin injury or that the head coach knew and let him kick anyway.

Which is just another reason why the Browns have won one of their last 37 regular-season games.

So its now the Jets

Browns slight favorites after two close games and Jets are playing their new inexperienced QB.

Everyone has had this game circled on the fixture.

This is the game that the new management brought in the experienced players to win.

Everyone was tipping the Browns to win this game last year.

Browns 21 - Jets 10
