Irma (strongest Atlantic hurricane in recorded history) and Harvey (costliest disaster in US history) within a week from each other.
Surely that is just God punishing America for gay marriage though?

Puerto Rico is supposed to be without power for at least 6 months...how crazy is that?

Can you imagine what would happen? People would lose their freaking minds. Take away power or electricity and primal instincts kick in. Crime goes up, streets become unsafe....it's a different world when you take away the amenities we take for granted every single day.

WTF is going to happen when Jose blows in on these same places? And its not even over; the hurricane season, I mean.

Warmer oceans will continue to mean more and more hurricanes.

Another new hurricane hitting Florida, meant to be massive. Direct cause of climate change? Who knows?

To be honest, governments can't claim "global warming" when cloud seeding is an actual thing. When you disrupt the natural processes of weathering of course it would cause irregular patterns and climate change.

My honest "belief" is that it's not as dangerous to human civilization as people like Al Gore/Dicaprio and the "97%" of scientists make it out to be. The main reason is the amount of money they receive from being climate change spokesmen. I watched a doco about it and the figures is ridiculous. That's not saying I don't believe some of the scientists, but when all these people are making massive bucks, it just puts a bit of doubt in the mind.

Climate changes.
In the most stable relatively warm period in earths history , humans developed.
Do we really think its going to last forever?
Some of the changes may be our fault.
But global cooling will be worse than warming.

It's the deforestation and over-fishing that are the real elephants in the room.

Historically we have always been able to find "more resources" grow "more food" become "more efficient" so that we can get around problems.
So people look at these sorts of issues and rationalise that it'll sort itself out.
The fact remains, that the resources, food , etc ARE finite and if we continue to pursue "growth" then somethings going to give.

Add in unsustainable and outdated agricultural practices worldwide but especially in the developing nations. It's just such a massive shitstorm to try to educate developing nations (much less the developed world!) on best practice farming methods when the 'West' has r*ped and ravaged the earth for 100 years using the same practices that developing nations are now using. Such hypocrisy from the West if you are seeing it from their POV. Everything is always easier said then done though. $$$ are a huge factor and 9 times out of 10 the cheap options (which is what the majority of agricultural industry implements) are the worst for the environment so anthropogenic pollution will continue to be a massive problem now and into the future. I just can't see how we can turn this ship around TBH not just with agricultural practices but also other human influenced pollution infecting the Earth.

Next thing you know it will be our fault when a volcano erupts
There IS a prevailing attitude that if anything goes wrong with the universe its our fault. Talk about a guilt complex, not to mention delusions of grandeur.

The science is really simple and we even have examples of global warming for the deep past and how it affected life, it goes without saying it wasn't great for that life.

It was fine. The cooling was far worse.

The biggest issue influencing the climate, extreme weather events, earthquakes etc is man-made weather modification or ‘geoengineering’.

With the sharp increase in earthquakes since 2012 they seem to have perfected the technology. Looking at temperature changes, the evidence suggests we are entering a cooling cycle.

Only an idiot would consider a fluctuation of the number of earthquakes to be evidence of human interference.
I'm looking forward to you blaming Human's for the "Big Bang".
Your 2 degree heating and cooling is nothing.

For the past 10 000 years the earth has been remarkably stable. ( Your 2 degree fluctuations don't matter much ).
If it plummets down by 10 degree's ( average ) like it has multiple times in the last million years, good luck growing food for the planet.

There are plenty of examples of patents, articles, presentations and books detailing technology used to cause earthquakes. There are also converging examples of senior US government personnel arriving to a region soon to devastated by an earthuake. And other examples of disaster relief funds being set up days before an earthquake strikes that region. Notable cases in point being Christchurch and Haiti earthquakes. Why the need for a personal insult??

The Big Bang is not proven. What relevance is this to the earthquake example?

I totally agree...global cooling is something to be very concerned about.
