Word is Young was on low 200s, and asked to potentially accept slightly less than 200 to stay on.

Hawthorn have quite a few blokes who provided senior depth - Gilham, Murphy, Bailey, Young - who are mid 20s...they cost more than the kids that we have, and also can potentially demand a best 22 spot in other teams, so have a bit more bargaining power/ability to leave.

At Hawthorn Young may have seen himself squeezed out of a flanker/wing role....Pies in 2012 really struggled to replace L.Davis, and then Didak and B.Johnson also struggled with injury...we really lacked an outside elite user...Young can provide that for us....fits a need.

Predictions of top 10 BnF are fanciful, but just like the Hawks we are filling weaknesses without giving up too much at all really....unlike the Hawks we are still with a couple of top 20 draft picks to ensure we also look after the long-term.

Would REALLY REALLY like Clinton Young. Would be the PERFECT recruit to help alleviate the backline exit woes.

Have always really rated him as a player. I know my Dad would be rapt. He's always been a big fan too. Especially good is that he's Unrestructed. So we don't have to give anyrthing to get him.

Get it done Bucks. Come on man. Do it. I love you man. Bring in Clinton.

The rumours of the pies got him a personal trainer are true, as people have sighted him at the gym, with collingwood personell. Not sure what the go is with drafting him. He would be a handy pickup, pay him next to nothing and could possibly be a match winner. No idea why clubs wouldn't pick him up.

Who cares what he has done in the past. Put him in a good cultured club, get at least 2 years out of him and he will kick 50+ goals. Imagine Fev, Cloke and Lynch in the same forward line.

Yep, there'd be not a lot of forward pressure. Fev only chased when he felt like it at the best of times.
How old, fat, unfit and uncommited is Fev again or has he magically gone backwards in time over the past few years?
He wasn't kicked out of 2 clubs for nothing. When he was in his prime.
