My apologies, I guess you've been on BF for 2 years or so then. (well at least 1 year and a day if your bday was today).

FWIW I also don't like the insulting way they talk about Toovey and other woods players - now that all the team is playing well they have to pick on blokes that are injured! It's a bit distasteful even talking about oppo players like that, although I guess that is sort of expected and part of the armchair sport. But about your own players, it is not only disgusting but idiotic - what good does it do your club's morale to publicly insult your own players like that???

What you posted is pretty much how I feel. I really don't agree with people bagging their own players (especially Toovey) from the comfort of the computer. Yeah, so you might not like a player, not everyone has to like every player, but I just disagree with posters saying "Oh, so-n-so is sh*t" , "That bloke is soft" , "He's a ____en useless player" , "He should never play again" etc, etc, etc. A prime example is what I quoted below.....

I dont think the collingwood players read this forum and anything posted here wont affect their morale but Toovey is crap and shouldn't have played a game for Collingwood barring multiple injuries in out side.

Then again, that's just me as a person.

Nope, he's like his old man - small nod and a wink and then back to position. He's got a quiet dignity about him which will see him in good stead.

Yeah seemed a little annoyed with himself in the second half for not out marking Wilkes every time.

Good to see he judges his performance harshly he had a decent game and wants to improve good signs

Maybe it's because people are different. Not everyone shows that much passion every game.

Yep doesn't matter what you say they keep abusing their own players - intelligence of a brick wall. Hopefully no matter what they say won't deter the players but there's no doubt that some players do read BF. It all adds up and attacking the abusers hopefully counteracts their effect however small it may be.
For example imagine if every single poster on forums abused pies players like Teh_Nub does, that would have some effect on the club I think.
