It's like 6 games into the EPL season and Mourinho has dropped Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic. He has threatened to drop Hazard and Fabregas as well. It doesn't matter who you are if you consistently play poorly, you deserve to be dropped. And for those that do not rate Mourinho, go have a look at his record, he is an unbelievable team manager.

I have NFI who any of those people are but I'm going to assume you've made a good point, so: touché

Great move Bassett in charge of back and give nicks new role as forward coach. Let's hope Voss and hocking instil more aggression into our midfield brigade. Add to the last 6 rounds passion. Round 1 2016 cannot come quick enough. Only a fishing trip to new Zealand beforehand gives me greater excitement!!!

Why would we replace Nicks with Chad Cornes? Nicks has done an excellent job for us as an assistant coach so far. What has Chad done?

If I may play devil's advocate for a moment, we're talking about a guy who had a reputation as a player for being a divisive influence among the playing group and of not respecting younger players, and as a coach has only a few uninspiring year as GWS' defence coach on his resume. If it wasn't Port Adelaide legend Chad Cornes, would anybody be happy with this appointment?

If I may play devil's advocate for a moment, we're talking about a guy who had a reputation as a player for being a divisive influence among the playing group and of not respecting younger players, and as a coach has only a few uninspiring year as GWS' defence coach on his resume. If it wasn't Port Adelaide legend Chad Cornes, would anybody be happy with this appointment?

I don't think it's a matter of replacing, there's a very real chance that Nicks could get a senior gig somewhere next year.

Just found this on sportsmed SA facebook, posted today.

"We wish to thank and farewell one of our experienced physiotherapists, Tim O'Leary, who recently accepted a lucrative position as Senior Physical Therapist for the mighty Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA. Tim had been the Head Physiotherapist at Port Adelaide Football Club since 2011, while he also previously spent a season assisting Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL. We wish Tim all the best in his new role and with the move to the USA!"
